All those talking about the barber being silent, i will give you the explanation you need. 1. This is a barber shop found in the high-end side of Kampala. (It's close to the ugandan parliament) 2. We receive clients from the corporate environment mostly members of parliament, lawyers, business people, etc, and all those people don't come to salon looking for gossip. But rather a service for relaxation. 3. It's in ugandan culture that if you don't know someone so much you don't speak anyhow to them unless they start the conversation ( for safety and respect) I hope that helps. And please you are all welcome to our beautiful Barbershop 😍

Welcome to Kampala 🇺🇬 Yves Kino. In Uganda, there are individuals who tend to observe others before speaking, yet once they engage, they can be quite talkative. It's important not to generalize that all Ugandan barbers are reserved, as there is diversity among them in terms of communication styles. 🇺🇬 ❤❤❤

You don't understand why they don't want cameras. Personally, I wouldn't like it if someone filmed me at work. The problem is that you come in and you already have a camera in your hand that is recording. So they don't know why and what you're filming it for. You should say who you are exactly and what the footage is for, maybe then they'll change their mind and let you film it. :)

First off the service was great. The barber kept his cool & did his job well so did the massuer. Keep it up guy's. Secondly this is for my Kenyan brother's & sister's, let's just stop this comparisons about everything & turning it into a competition when a traveler passes through our country & traverse on to the next. Yes we are a welcoming friendly people blessed good internet connectivity, we are tech savy well informed opinionated & outgoing. It doesn't have to be that way in all countries. Every country has it's culture, diversity, mannerisms which mould personalities. We may better in infrastructure while one travels via the Africa continent but not necessarily parfect. We gat a long way to go so let's give our sister countries to catch up. On a wider scale we are member's of EAC relying on each other one way or another. Let's just enjoy the adventure & learn about Uganda & the countries after next.

🤣🤣 Ugandans are definitely more laid back than Kenyans ... The vlogs have been nice but noticeably less interactive

The customer sets the tone in Uganda. Not the service provider. Courtesy and respect are key in Ugandan society.

This is a professional barber. If you want a parrot for a barber then get a jua kali place.

Yea, I love kino, but some people just aren’t big talkers and aren’t gonna start rambling on unless you start a conversation with them. The Barber looked focused on his job the entire time.

Eeeh kenyans you busy buzzing the comment section how boring uganda is.the barber did his job.why the comparison am sure if he had gone somewhere else there would be some vibe.that place doesnt mean the whole uganda.we ugandans are friendly and have good vibes but doesnt mean everybody is like that.some kenyans that i know are quiet you might think they aint in the room.am sure this aint a competition where we determine who talks more kenyans or ugandans.the berbsr did a good job why not credit that.

I liked the barber. He was focused and you can tell he knows what hes doing. Talking to people can be tiring sometimes when you work customer service every day.
