IDKW they see that as a very ugly shoe. TBH nike kobes are all fire but sometimes colorways makes them ugly and i see the kobe 8 halos which just released in plain white as more ugly looking than that curry 2 lows😁
I don't care what you say about my boy stache brow kanter, my man is fighting everything that is shit in this world while playing his profession and risking it as well that deserves a huge respect.
i love those curry 2’s, they felt so nice to play in. still got them somewhere and whenever i pick up a ball again, i’m definitely gonna rock them again.
The ugliest shoes of all time are Yeezy's. All of their designs. I know some players wanted to wear them on the court but I really couldn't understand why, to me they look like nurses shoes. I know Kanye is a big deal in fashion, or at least was, I don't know if he's still involved with everything going on with him right now, but anytime he came out with a new design they were all so ugly. I think with him it's the classic case of more money than taste. But saying that, there's a bunch of players whose signature shoes were really ugly.
I remember back in 2001 when Allen Iverson stepped on the court with clown shoes, which he later stated was a political statement about climate change. Absoloutley insane.
The first shoe you showed for Kobe's first signature shoe was actually the Adidas Kobe 2, which most people will agree are ugly. The second shoe you showed for Kobe's first signature shoe, while mentioning storm troopers, was the Adidas Kobe 1 (now called Crazy 1s), and you'll find there are way less people that find them ugly.
The ugliest from what I've ever seen was the one pair used by that kid who stole Kevin Durant's powers in Thunderstruck. Makes me cringe whenever I remember that scene when he starts his montage of plays.
Still kills me when I think about the time Steph gifted everyone his signature shoe while doing the sneaker shopping episode on Complex. They came into the store thinking they were gonna leave with some grails and all they got was trash!!
You really have to wonder what happens to players brains when they sign their contracts, because it seems the moment they do they lose all sense of normalcy, sense of taste. The shoes some of these players not only design which is one thing, but what they wear day to day is horrific. I think the fashion industry is really just playing jokes sometimes, comes up with the ugliest designs they can create and throw ridiculous price tags on them because they know athletes in particular are gonna buy them and actually wear them, which trickles down to fans of said athlete going out and buying them too. Even some Jordan designs are really, really ugly, but people will still go and get them just to have the latest Jordans.
