@@kyleb06 Sand Filters and heat vents I think. It controls the heat output, as the engine and the extreme temps in Saudi Arabia are controlled through the engine.

These locomotives have huge dust filters as here in Saudi Arabia they operate on lines that run through the desert and that is what those boxes are, dust filters
