I'm in my 50's and I'm no longer phased by physical beauty anymore. I've met so many physically attractive women who were ugly on the inside that I didn't even acknowledge their existence once they opened their mouths. At this point in my life, I can't even be bothered to search for a needle in a haystack anymore. I find more peace and happiness loving my family than I ever would in seeking for approval from people who are not family. I keep myself attractive but it's not for anyone but myself to keep my own self esteem and keep my own head up high.

I also used to be considered what men call very attractive, but by the time I reached my 50’s I started losing some of my good looks. Also during my prime time I would get asked out a lot, but not get hardly any 2nd, or 3rd dates once they discovered that I was this deep introverted intellectual type with autistic-like character traits. Let’s face it most guys don’t look for intelligence in women, but most beauty, charm and nurturing and caregiving traits.

At the end of the day, I think everyone in the world just needs to learn that the way you look or your physical exterior doesn't determine what you deserve, the type of person you are, how smart you are, how much money you have, how hard you love others, or how big your heart is. This is a short life, you can't really change how you look, so just learn to love what you got. There's only one you, and nobody else looks exactly identical to you, that makes you special. If you go out feeling bad about yourself, talking down to yourself, you are going to receive that same energy back. I was actually very attractive when I was in my teens and early 20’s (before I got married), so I would get asked out buy many guys. I'm 42 y.o. woman. The title of your video captured my attention. I am told I am good looking, but it actually doesn't matter to me at all. Objectively speaking (since we don't know each other) - you definitely ARE good looking. It's a fact, not my way to improve your mood. What is ugly? Your glasses. They definitely doesn't match the shape of your face. What would "boost" your looks would be to grow some moustache and beard, of course if it's possible. I know that some guys can't grow them easily. Perfect hygiene, great scent of the perfume or cologne aaaaand you're the winner. About being introverted and shy. Introversion is preferring "quality over quantity". I am an introvert, I love interacting with people, I am a chatterbox. The real problem is shyness. I am not shy. Shyness is a direct byproduct of low self-esteem. That's something you need to change. Shyness is a very unattractive feature. It can be cute in girls, but not in men. Real women don't want a man with low self-esteem because we need someone we can rely on. I don't believe there's such thing as "objective attrativeness", I think the thing about low self esteem goes both ways, I don't think lack of a father figure on it's own could create low self esteem and I know some girls that like shy guys, but otherwise this is a great and insightful comment filled with things alot of people could use if they didn't figure it out on their own, and I agree this guy is not bad looking imo. Confidence and learning to see your beauty physically and mentally is key. Platonic friendships rock in general besides getting a girlfriend. I do wonder though what constitutes in your eyes acting like you "want a girlfriend around someone" because that was kind of vauge if you could expand on it. Hi, can you give me advice then I'm 24 never had a gf. I workout 5 days a week. Have a solid skincare routine (cleanser + moisturizer + sunscreen at day and cleanser + moisturizer at night) and serum every weekend. I take care of hair as well. I have a good hygiene. Everyday I use perfume. I have decent fasion sense (atleast I can do basics right). I have a well trimmed beard and moustache. Have well fitted eyeglasses as per my face (atleast I think so) From personality side, I can make people laugh (atleast smile). I earn good amount of money (compared to my age). Have a good amount of investment. I can easily live of my own money for more than 2 years without working. I have lot of successful and good friends (including females). I am ambiverted in nature. I can interact easily. I recently stopped watching porn (1 month clean) . I have a strong ambition and passion which I used to work on. I don't play video games. I try to make intentions clear early on but I get rejected everytime Now can you guide me.

That has always been interesting to me. The concept of attractiveness. Do extroverts have better chances? Not necessarily, potentially yes. It is mostly about social skills and/or social circles. Even Introverts can develop social skills to communicate more fluidly and work though their insecurities to not be too nervous, that they cant talk. But guess what, extroverts get also nervous and shy around people they find attractive. I truly do believe it is a skill. For the looks, of course it is a factor. Mostly you should look "healthy" and "presentable in public", thats it.. and maybe having a certain face/skin genes or style can be a factor, but it is more of a preference, so some girls will find you extra attractive for your genetical features. Others will either dislike it (their loss) or choose to ignore it, because they realize it is not the most important thing. I have been told I look handsome, I have nice face and I am very tall. But I am skinny and have long hair, and I have been told since I was a kid, that I wasnt manly enough. This insecurity crippled my abillity to connect with the girls I liked, even if they also liked me back or at least somewhat found me attractive. But still even with the looks, I am still a virgin. Noone will be direct with you and offer to sleep with you. I felt so ashamed, that I told others that it is my spiritual choice, but thats not true, I want to experience women, but I just dont feel like putting myself out there, and lack the skills. You have to find and own yourself to be able to find the right girl. Last thing I wanted to share, something that helped me feel better about the way I look... As someone who is older - 60+ I can tell you that most people are lonely - so you are not in the minority We live in a world now where many if not most interact with others through electronic devices (including me at times) But building relationships takes time and effort. You are a likeable person who will have no trouble making friends if you work at it a little bit. Remember -just because a person does not have friends - that does not mean there is something wrong with them or that they are less desirable. See that you are a desirable person with good traits. Almost everyone has a desire to meet and establish relationships but most are not putting themselves out there enough to make it happen. It is a little uncomfortable I will admit, but worth it. you have to be selfish. Only you can help you. forget doing stuff to impress others/women. Do whatever improves your life for you. Whether thats education, physical training, martial arts, taking up a hobby, having a dress sense etc. do it for you!
You're not ugly. Try finding inner love through poetry and art. Maybe express your inner love through work. Maybe just work on yourself. Best is to completely forget about anything else until you build up so much personal value that it's finally easy to connect with others. You need to reach a better mental state though. Turn off negative thoughts. Turn on positive thoughts. Just be naive and discover inner beauty before you go out in a so much stronger mental state. Maybe that helps. You really need to BREAK the vicious circle between rejection and negative thoughts.
the title of the video is the result of a low self esteem, which is a thing many, if not most introverts face throughout their lifetime. watching this video i really couldnt say that youre unattractive, however there are many things you can improve on. obviously hitting the gym is a to go things in your situation, as not only youll improve on your body shape and remove body fat, but also possibly improve on your communication skills. you also mentioned that you have nothing to offer to a girl... well, trust me, as long as you have an appealing hobby (any instrument, computer science, editing, modeling etc), thats enough to actually impress someone. if you dont currently have one then absolutely get one! there are many ways out of your situation and i wish you the best of luck getting out of it.

Listen dude, I swear Im serious and am not just saying that, your are nor ugly at all. Touch and bodybuilding posture and workouts are something that always helps you to improve your looks. Dont give up man :). And bering to introverted can be diffucult but you will always find friends over time. In places like the gym Ive had basiclly only positive experiences and people lifting you up and helping. Much love my man :)
I hate gyms. So I not going near them. I work out at home. But I don't think that Good body and muscles should give me women. I want to be loved for who I am.
@@lucasdown4340 out of experience you start to do it maybe for the woman but in the end you do it for yourself. What I find great about gyms is that you go there more often and work harder than at home but hey thats all you. The gym community great tho, everybody is really friendly. But the fact that you work out at home is great too man. Just be consitent. Even when you are sometimes too afraid of social interactions or puplic places force yourself a little, thats how you get more social. You of course should have bounderies tho Anyway I wish you the best, much love 🙂
@@lucasdown4340I also don’t like gyms bur it’s not the muscles it’s about it’s if you do the bare minimum in life you get the bare minimum ( not that you’re not trying but it goes for every area in life ) like for example when you ask a girl out you’re not picking a girl you don’t find attractive so you can’t expect someone like that to be a good choice all the time even if she’s nice on the inside and everything good personality plus being pretty she worked on herself to add to herself putting in effort so she can meet someone who is the same if you work on you and your quality on life it may not effect you as much to be alone and try to socialize because you werent attracted to a ugly nice girl you just liked her because attract is what gets your but if you don’t find her pretty or something you like personality however you get to that point maybe observing being introverts sometimes don’t mingle too much you know how kind they are but they nothing other way around sorry bad grammar

@@lucasdown4340 I agree, that going to the gym for others is nonsensical. I guess guys tried to encourage you to some sort of physical activity, so you can improve your physical health & well-being in general. Actually I never was myself at the gym, for the sole fact, that it's a nightmarish place for an introvert. Yikes! And old friend of mine is going for long walks to maintain his health. And actually, he is doing fantastic. As an introvert, I go for walks with my cam, and take photos of interesting things. For that reason I don't feel like a weirdo when walking alone. I just look like a pro photographer on a mission LOL.
