UGR Calculations in Dialux Evo 9
In video you will learn about calculating UGR in Dialux Evo.
UGR is unit to measure glare.
There are 2 types of Glare : Discomfort glare and Disability glare.
This video will help you understand terms like height offset, viewing angle and step width. UGR is used for indoor glare calculation and GR is used for exterior glare calculation.

Thank you Mr. Sairaj. Direct and Indirect glare are the type where as Discomfort and Disability glare is what we experience.

@@SumaiyaEliyaz Yes I agree with that. Discomfort Glare is sensation of discomfort. Whereas Disability Glare reduce visual performance with excessive luminance leading to loss of visibility.

Hi i want to ask you Sumaiya about indoor tennis court UGR or GR rating need to be calculated? In norms i can see outdoor and indoor to write GR rating less 50, but GR rating calculatind only outside. Maybe can you explain this?

As a lighting designers you make lighting concepts, lighting layouts not only for interior or exterior. Its for residential, retail, landscape, facade , commercial etc
