I really love the purple and blue look 💜💙 Honestly it's my fave way to wear blue 😊 It must be hard to be this "brutally honest" when you like Mikayla so much and it's the second time... but we really appreciate your honesty 😊
blue shimmers really are special! I just feel bad because it's like I would LOVE to hang out with her because I love her as a person, Im just not into the Glamlite's formula of these.

Girl dont feel bad saying something doesn't work for you. I think we've all had that experience. So much depends on our makeup style and how we prefer to apply as well as base, skin texture etc. You will be far more relatable and believable if we as your viewers know you're being honest with us. And it's more helpful to know a pallette's pros and cons before we buy. Nothing is perfect
I totally agree with you! Its just hard because I love her content and think she's so fun but just am not a fan of GlamLite's formula. I wanted to love it so bad too since the colors are SOOOO my thing haha
I love your honesty ❤️ sorry people can be mean when you're stating your opinion. We can clearly see what you are talking about when you point out harsh lines or chunkiness in the shadow. I'm at the point where I don't need those colors in my collection and I only snag something that fills a gap or really, really catches my eye. I always appreciate your honesty! I waited on this palette because I got the first one and (1) I thought other than the neutral rows in the first, this looked like it had A LOT of similar shades to the first one and (2) the first one was just a struggle to get the mattes to work well…like you had in your video using the first palette. It was my first glam light palette and I couldn’t understand why everyone raved about their formula. But I do love Mikayla, so figured I’d wait to see if you reviewed the second to see your thoughts. I honestly didn’t expect you to get it given the struggle with the first one….but it is your colors so I knew there was a chance 😂 Thanks for the honest review as always girl! 🙏
I think the second one is more pinky purple and plays more into the greens and shimmers. More of a color lover kind of palette! I was a little apprehensive but I really loved the color story and thought since this one has a different vibe it might work differently! Plus I havent tried much from GlamLite so I thought why not :)

As a newbie to glam eyeshadow looks I appreciate your honesty so much. I’m nervous enough trying for the bolder eyes that I don’t want to try an learn with a palette that doesn’t blend well or gives harsh lines. I’m definitely not experienced enough to be able to fix that. I recently purchased all the Beauty Bay 42 palettes due to your reviews, minus the newer Berries one. Waiting and hoping for a review on that one. I really wish you could collaborate with someone and have your own line. I think a line from you would be amazing. I’m pale as printer paper also so it would be nice to have a line (from primer to powder, the whole face) catered to that. Thank you again for your great review and inspiring look. You slay as always Side note: I love Mikayla also, so it does suck that her palettes aren’t that user friendly ☹️
This is my 1st glamlite palette. I don't own any beauty bay. I really like it but it was so expensive. I love the shimmers though. I bought it for the shimmers really as I don't use those bright shades in my crease.
I love the green eye most💚 Im with you on these Glamlite x Mikayla palettes. I only have the 1st one & it didn't blow my socks off like my older Glamlite palettes did. Its almost like they changed the shadow formula & they are not as pigmented. As much as I love greens, I will be passing on this one. Love your eye looks tho🤩

Yes! The bulky packaging on some of them is annoying. I usually stay away from those ones. Lol! But I have the cake palette, the taco palette & the paint palette. I love them all & I also heard the ice cream dream is a good one. May have to add it to my wishlist..
Have you seen the new green palettes P.Louise just launched ?!? Omg sooo gorgeous! I ordered them. I know people think they look repetitive but in person, her other palettes do have a lot of small differences between the shades and I love the options personally.
I love both the eye looks you did, but the purple look had more of a wow factor! I just ordered this today, and am kinda relieved that the pigment isn't super strong. I'm very fair skinned, and would rather build up a color than try to blend out one that is too much.
I love the shade but I just wish it looked more smooth! Im so picky I couldnt see past it :( Its one of those shades you never see all that much either!
@@BreyonnaFaye oh this is so random now lol but there’s a good teal that leans more green like this in sugarpill’s fun size too! it’s just the one because it’s an all matte rainbow with a twist palette so there isn’t a matching shimmer or shades to blend it out but it’s really good.
I was so excited to find this palette at CVS yday! It's my first Glamlite palette too and I can't wait to play with the first two rows of shimmers! As always I love your looks too!! Edited to say I just played with it and did a purple look on one eye which was cute and just used one of the shimmers in the first row on my other eye and it was a bit underwhelming sadly since I have heard so many good things about Glamlite over the years but I am going to keep playing with it. I used my Colourpop eye primer instead of my favorite ABH one and I don't like it so maybe that was my issue! fingers crossed!
What did you use to apply the shimmer? I’d probably try using your finger and if you want the edges more crisp like a cut crease just use a brush at the very edge! The colourpop eye primer can be finicky with mattes I know, never had a problem with shimmers with it!
@@BreyonnaFaye I used my finger! I'll keep playing with it. The purple shimmer I used from the purple row was gorgeous but the white shimmer I used from row 1 or 2 was just OK.
I immediately wanted this for the purples and greens, but realized I have these shades (or extremely similar) in my Glamlite Dirty Martini (green) and Glamlite Wine (purple) so I think I'm good. 😃
I love the purple side. I was just on the site about to order that palette but I think imma press pause. You had to do a lot of work to get those to look like that. I have other palettes that get me there quicker. But those shimmers are sick. Love both looks but that purple and blue is fire. Good choices .
It really depends how you work with shadows. I pack and blend and have none of the issues Breyonna has. If you do shadows like she does, a lot of blown out blending and layering shades, you might not like it. I personally think Beauty Bays formula is meh, they’re good for the price imo Everyone has different techniques and preferences
I am Still waiting for mine I ordered it on the day it launched the whole PR kit And I’m still waiting it said it had been shipped out but I have no clue I live in Massachusetts I am hoping and praying I get it soon I am so anxious to play with it it definitely looks stunning

I love these palettes! This formula is one of my favorites! And I appreciate your honesty. We’re all different. I can’t stand beauty bay or colourpop, but I love glamlite, ace beaute, and Natasha denona (usually).

I can 100% relate on waiting on this palette! I bought it right at lunch time because I wanted to get the 10 pan palette as well but that sold out pretty much immediately, but I have literally been waiting for my palate since launch day but I do have to say that when it comes to shipping, even though it took a long time for them to actually fulfill the order, once it said it was on its way I ended up getting it like four or five days sooner than what USPS tracking told me. I wasn't supposed to have my palate until August 1st and I literally got it like two or three days ago. So even though the processing time took a long time, colourpop and other brands could definitely take notes when it comes to shipping because Glam light has always gotten to me super fast and earlier than when it says it's going to be at my house. And as far as the videos, maybe I'm not subscribed to the people that you watch but I was trying to search RU-vid to find reviews on this palette, and I only found the very first one just a couple days ago, actually the day I got my pallet was the day that I found the first review on the palette, but even if there are other reviews out there, I can say for certain that even if you feel like the hype is gone around this palette, I was hoping you were going to get it and do a review, no matter how long it takes I always watch your reviews because of how honest you are and in depth! 💯💯💜💜
Aw man it annoys the shit out of me when shimmers don't pick up with a brush because I wear my nails long. I have caught the collecting bug unfortunately - where I'm likely to get every palette in a series - and it's very helpful to see objective reviews like this. I might avoid this palette altogether or at the very least wait until it goes on sale for half off.
I love honest reviews because I want it but idk I love beauty bay and prob could get something similar I mean I got a pat McGrath palette and wasn’t that impressed as I should but I love collecting and trying
From the moment I saw this palette reveal, I could see that it was a mix of beautybay forest and midnight palettes. And when i compared the quality of my other mikayla palette to the beautybay, I honestly felt like the beautybay palette had much better quality
My palette took forever!!! I ordered it July 2nd and it just got here yesterday which was August 23rd! 😩 it was worth the wait but for me to spend so much to get the pr package and wait so long kind of sucked. None the less the palette is gorgeous and so are the lipsticks!
That’s what happened w/ my order too. I mean I knew it was gonna take 3-4 weeks & it said it was shipping & then sat for awhile & then it showed up this week haha. I really love the colors in this palette, I’ve had some issues w/ the darker colors from Glamlite, but I still enjoy the brand. I love both sides, 2 of my fave colors to use. 💚💜💚💜

I have three of the cocktail palettes from GL and find these also merely okay. So many love their palettes, but I prefer even the one or other palette from essence. Essence is a hit or miss, but if one is good, then right. Currently, I am also rather with the BeautyBay palettes or BH Cosmetics, where I hope that nothing will change in the quality.
I hope I’m not disappointed…. I picked up the bundle with both her first and now the second palette. My first glamlite palette was the ice cream palette and it was so disappointing I ended up giving it away… I was hoping that maybe their formula improved
I have Glamlite's paint palettes, the wine palette, and 3 of the hershey kiss ones and I love them. I purchased both Mikayla 1 and 2 but haven't touched them yet. I keep hearing they're tough to work with 😭
I mean if you already have them I would use them! You could have a way better experience :) Everyone is different! Just because something doesn't work for someone doesn't mean it won't work for you!
I work at cvs and we just got this glamlite×Mikayla collection and the palettes are selling like hotcakes but I have not tried it cause I already own icecream dream and I'm disappointed with the quality of the mattes especially
I ordered mine at the exact release time on the release date and I still haven't received it. It was a pretty large order too. And the hype has definitely died down.
I know these shimmers have more of a cream to powder consistency, and I would love to know your opinion, morphe makes those brushes that have the rubber tip that are essentially used for pressed glitters, but do you think that a brush like that would work better with these types of shimmers? Because I know these and the beauty bay shimmers have more of a putty type feel to them, so I just wanted to get your opinion on what you thought about using one of those rubber paddle type brushes from morphe with this kind of shimmer formula? I haven't actually tried any of the beauty Bay shimmers yet, I missed a ton of the limited edition palettes that I really wanted but I just got the love notes palette and haven't played with it yet but it's beautiful and I was curious on this type of brush before I go digging into that palette as well.🤔🤔🤔
I've never used something like that so Im not sure! I know some people like to use those sponge tip applicators to apply shimmers but I haven't tried it! If a shimmer doesnt work with one of my fave brushes I just do it how I did here. I have that beauty bay palette and it works really well with a brush for me, but it would be the same style of shimmer as this or an ultra glitter super shock shadow from colourpop! Depending on which limited edition you were wanting, I know the shades in Wilderness are in both the Earthy and Midnight palettes!
@@BreyonnaFaye yes. The sponge tip is what I use if I have nails. I always cringe when people throw their sponge tips away. If they are super flimsy I get it but a good sponge tip is absolutely essential to me.
I havent tried much from them, just the Mikayla palettes and the Donut palette! I love the Donut one though, its really nice just bulky with the packaging.
Have you gotten the new Beauty Bay palette yet? The New Mood palette? I want to get it but I'm waiting on a review from you before I purchase it, so just curious to know if that in the work for a video? 💜💜💜
It would be a little strange if I reviewed something and didn’t critique it in one way or another. If you’re watching a review of mine and wanting to see if you should spend your hard earned money on it, I want you to see all the benefits and disadvantages.
We appreciate your honesty. I personally think that probably the make up technique you used didn’t do it. Been watching other tutorials since I ordered this palette and Angelica N and other creators did a makeup look with this palette also and the colors look in the eye just exactly as in the palette. I also think the choice of brushes didn’t help.
With my reviews I use the same eye primer, technique, and use brushes I use daily to keep things consistent in order to give it a fair shot! The brushes I used were natural hair and the synthetic were designed to be used with pressed pigments. Not everything works for everyone snd it’s totally ok 💜
