The Main comment is probably Satire but this doesnt actually skip anything But traversal sections and even then you have to have some knowledge of the Games inner workings to Not fuck Up the raid. It doesnt give rhulk cp tho, you cant obtain any CP in this because the raid still thinks you are in the beginning of bog and wont Update the raidstate at all until you Progress the opening.
Rhulk: "I meticulously prepared a series of encounters with increasing difficulty so that I can assess your power and... hey, you're not supposed to do it like that!"
Bungie needs to accept that these kinds of things will always be in the game, take a ton of skill* to pull off, and don't hurt the normal game at all so let us have fun and go fast
I agree with most but at any point you can skip a mechanic or jump puzzle that is “hurting the game” as Bungie sees it,l. I’m not a fan of the eager edge nerf but let’s not pretend being able to skip stuff like that is not an issue, ABSOLUTELY detrimental to the development process
@@videnschaos yet they can't fix shit that is an issue for us to play? They can undo the mistakes they make that help players in pve but half the time can't figure out how to fix the issues that hurt us in pve?
@@Monke636 "no fun allowed" really is bungie's design philosophy. Even in pvp. Oh you like to jump around cos it gives a good mixup to your engagements? Nerfed. Oh you like sliding cos it's basically free mobility? Nerfed. This is supposed to be HALO + COD + not meant to be taken seriously. Yet bungie is designing the game as if it was a top tier esport. The leaving penalty even says that we were leaving a competitive match.
I refuse to believe that the second swipe in an activation didn’t tear apart the fabrics of space and time to allow these game breaking speedrunners to partake in such heinous acts. 😤
I asked a map developer buddy of mine and he said that the amount of times it takes to make a (playable) map that big is months, if not years, for even a large team. If the developers had to spend the time to also make sure none of the geometry is easily exploitable it would add years to the timeline, would require much more testing, and re-testing every patch that a new form of mobility or mechanics exist. (Rough translation)
@@likiliki93 I get where you're coming from, but I was more so referring to player-wide or larger gaps that allow us to just... walk out. I get that planning for strange movement like sparrow flying, shatter/bubble/well skating, hoping off a sparrow, and finisher jump (don't remember the name, but the one people used in duality) is difficult, but we've had countless holes that could be patched over in minutes.
Bro just wanted to type something 💀 lol idk where people get their information nowadays, Bungie doesn't play test shit like they used to, they could easily fix any issue in less than a day they just don't care like they used to. Money is the priority for them now, not the player experience.
it does not amaze me tho! cus ppl who find this things they are no lifers with no purpose and they try to brake the game and make it not fun to play for others with skips like this! ppl like this guy are useless to d2 comunity!
Right?? My screen brightness ain't ready for that shit lol at some points he's just floating in darkness and then appears standing on a platform looking down at the sky. (Yes I said *down* at the sky)
Well, dumb idiot stupid fool me, was brushing up on Halo lore, and discovered something. The Ecumene is the Forerunner word for Forerunner. The Ecumene Crisis Council is now online and true. Attention. As of Radial 990 groove 0 the Hive has launched a staggering counterattack across the spinward frontier. Perimeter, militia, and shock fleets report total casualties. We anticipate total Ecumene disintegration/extinction within two hundred twenty years. VIGILANCE SPIKE EI-{}-~attend~ The Hive entity Oryx/Aurash is deploying a paracausal ontopathogenic weapon that infects and subverts Ecumene forces. The weapon operates on individual targets. Targets are abducted and returned as compliant Hive slaves with inexplicable and physically illegal abilities. All Ecumene clients should IMMEDIATELY devote all economic and cognitive resources to a countermeasure. Fight hard. We stop the Hive here, or see our galaxy devoured.
I feel like there is a decent sized subset of the company that likes this stuff and they are the ones who put the huge holes in the OOB geometry that makes this viable.
Thing is, Eager Edge nerf doesn't prevent this kinda things (which is the reason they gave for the nerf). Any of the previous raid/dungeon encounter skips are still doable even with the nerf so, either they did a poor job, they were lying to us about the reason, or they're talking about future encounters (next dungeon/raid). I want to think is the last option but can't really say, the communication on this matter has been a bit weird all along and they haven't responded to these kinda clips and videos of people doing pretty much the same as before.
@@Sinkune I feel like they were lying for the reason why. If they were worried about encounters being glitched, they would’ve patched sparrow flying a long time ago
@@nunyadamnbusiness6405 They are not lying why. Its because of the Strand. They trying to minimize actual glitches. They quite aware people will do it anyways. Just trying to prevent someone's game breaking by accident, having quit the activity all together and join back in on people. Happened to me also. I died and my ghost went under the stairs. I couldn't res, my team couldn't get me. Had to wait and leave and join back in. Its even more annoying if you run solo. So yes, there are reason why they doing this.
@@DanieIQP yeah, and they would’ve also gotten rid of well skating and shatter skating. I really don’t understand what their reasoning was, especially when it only targeted speed runners
It just amazes me how people like you, not only figure out exactly how to traverse outside of the map, avoiding pit falls, death barriers, and loading glitches, but then to memorize it and speed run it! It just makes me wonder how many hours you put in just to figure out the path, let alone perfecting the speed run.
At this point it would've just been easier to close the dozens of holes Bungie leaves in maps instead of nerfing our ways to move around. Let's be fair, you can do most of these skips without wellskating, EE or even aerial dodges. But you can't do any if those holes are plugged up
I don't know if it's still true, but in order to edit their maps, they'd have to let their devtools load overnight and hope they didn't crash. Made it a pain in the ass to get stuff done.
@@julianruiz8781 then to go even further you can go in to gunzerker thrown 2 grenades into the sky then at your feet then you can rocket jump with it. insane height
Due to some issues with eager edge which we introduced solely for the point of moving faster, we have now disabled it forever, because guardians are going too fast
I've always wondered what happens if you actually kill the boss after skipping the rest of the raid. If warden of nothing is anything to go by, the chest would appear anyways.
Only possible cause of the spawn system changes. They broke the spawn system in Season of the Haunted, still haven't fixed it. Makes solo Rez breaches so much easier. My research into trying to get that solo breach working pre-haunted did lead to some great Rez breach tech at least, before Bungie just went and made it free XD Previously it would require two people.
@@Froggy618157725 that particular skip at 340 might end with a res breach, but that isn't what makes it cool, the cool part is the movement tech to go up all 3 stories in 1 well skate
@@Zefrone that’s actually super smart, don’t know how I haven’t thought of that. Can shatter skate super easy but have trouble with getting a consistent well skate. Ty for the tip
Me with 5000 hours played have no idea where he is for half this video and recognize how many more hours it would take to learn all the perfectly timed and measured launches he does that I can maybe do 1 out of 10 times.
@@xcelestialdemon8245 Just like GOS doing skips won't give you CP. You can finish the encounter but it won't give pinnacle and if you leave without doing anything then you just spawn back into the beginning of the raid.
As far as I'm concerned, if there isn't a play tester at Bungie who can do stuff like this, then they're not doing play testing. This dude sees the Matrix. It's amazing.
Completely unrelated but, didnt expect to hear Monody, been so long, great song and holy... impressive oob, those wellskate wall bounces are really cool
Warlock mains really be playing PvE like it was 4D Chess. It's like being inside the map hurts them, they are either out of bounds or in incredible pain
would love to see this done with lament dude! not sure its really possible but would love to see an attempt! would kind of prove to Bungie that its NOT eagers edge that is carrying you through skips, but their map design and inability to patch things that are impactful. maybe the caretaker load isnt possible with lament or even titan with lions and thunderccrash but potentially possible. i mean they patch the GoA oob to kill fallen shield, why cant they do that everywhere else? im sure there is a reasonable explanation- but nerfing eagers with a speed cap was the absolute worst way to fix something completely unrelated. map design. imagine QA coem to the weapons team and asks them to patch a weapon because there are holes in the map. lololoolol
Wait wtf? Just the memory and we’re to do stuff and how to, either you done this a lot or you have it written down or you just have a very good memory 😂 Crazy stuff!
As a pvp main, I didn't understand anything of what just happened here, but I do know that it took a lot of practice and time. It's always amazing to see things like this.
