I love the new Uhuru Park(Central Park) and i think if the park charges at least some fee for entry would be good to retain it's newly glorious status otherwise if its free its gonna go back to the bushman's cave as it had become since 2005. so i think its good if charged some cash whichby will at least take care of the maintenance of the area."just a suggestion, charges should vary from 300shs(adults)100-150shs(kids)weekends, 500shs(adults)200-250(kids) narmal days and probably 1000shs(adults)500shs(kids) for foreigners." They have only been opening it during public holidays maybe that's how it will always be ,kilawakati holiday they say it's open for public but after they close

They need to charge a small to access the park. Charging fees to access recreation on public lands makes sense on many levels. Extra cash helps the management to maintain natural areas with direct help from the people who use them. It helps sites be less vulnerable to idlers/petty thieves. The fees can even be used as a tool to constrict the number of people flocking to overused areas.
