I absolutely agree that the citizens were at fault but also you should not ignore the fact that the amount of fake cases these days are rising rapidly which could be the main reason that they denied any help. bolna jitna aassan hai utna aasan karna nahi hai bhai... imagine you are a fatherless child, your mother hardly earns enough to feed the family, and you are preparing for an exam that can change your entire family's fate, but then this girl shows up... even if you want to then also you cant help her, because our system of investigation is so slow that you will have to be present at the police precinct atleast 2 days a week for god knows how many months (and all this is from a personal experience) and trust me, no matter what you say to this comment's reply, if you were to be the one to make this decision in that situation, you (not just you, everyone) would have chosen his/her family, harsh but true
