This should be a great market for Ujoint(C). I'm wondering if this could be the start of a 3-phase option... This being Phase-1. Phase-2 being a several inch lift all the way around with extended lower control arms for larger tires. Phase-3 is 4×4 with all the bells and whistles. ( For those of us who would like to go 4×4 Someday but need the extra clearance now and don't want to waste money on a competitor's product that won't be compatible with upgrading to Ujoint 4x4 in the future. Just an idea)
Great points made about woeful suspension status and regrettable ride quality of motorhomes built upon the oem Ford E-450 chassis. You may be aware of the upfitter relationship existing between the Phoenix USA RV manufacturer and Quigley Off-road, whom provides the 4x4 converted/lifted chassis to Phoenix USA. Perhaps Steve Gerzeny; CEO of Coach House, would be interested in a similar arrangement?
Thanks for the content. When I purchased my 2000 7.3 PS E450 Ambulance it weighed 10,400. After my modifications it is sitting at 12,200. The GVWR is 14,500lbs. Thanks for showing how a set of new non-lift springs sit. Mine look similar and I was concerned about how flat they were. They do not look appreciably different after adding 1,800 lbs to the rig but boy does it ride better. I have spoken to you about installing a rear locker. Glad to see you got into your new shop. As soon as I can see a window where I can take some time off of work I want to come out had have some work done, I will be in contact. Thanks again for the content.
We didn't on this one, Owner didn't want any front lift. I have an idea on using a heavier coil in the front though that I think will pair well with the rear.
