Let’s have a game of Brexit bingo, a point for any of the following. Deregulate, punish, not punishing, punishment, water down, pour cold water on, preferential, hugh privileges, lucrative, demanding, 3rd country, reset, Not what voted for, BRINO.
A man is not allowed to.build a modest home in ireland ,due to the local needs descrimination rule ,and this rule is endorsed by this pathetic government, and also by sinn Fein,a pretend opposition party the notion of self-determination on this island is a myth and that unfortunately is what this country have become . Nothing changes for the honest men and women who try to live here
His record suggest quite the opposite he made a mess of every portfolio he was tasked with especially health the only thing he is profishent in is regurgitated spin

That is why FG got the United Ireland Protocol in 2019, which increased cross border trade 500% in the space of a year..... and of course the €500 billion for the Shared Island Fund as well as the Billion given to the North to get the DUP back to work... Oh Yeah!!! both Leo Varadkar and Simon Coveney said they would see a United Ireland in their life time.
@@mrhoppy_9724 A United Ireland already exist in all but name.... and as soon as the uk government calls a border poll, it will be done and dusted. The brits would loss their sh1t if they thought Ireland had beaten them again....
@@margaretbrrtt4924 Of course, Leo should have pressed the issue of a Border Poll in March instead of some crap about a country in the Middle East nobody actually gives one flying F about...
Sky News obviously trying to put words into his mouth that Tories are so bad and Kier Starmer is The Angel coming down from heaven to earth to save the UK.
Tories are bad though. They’re the most awful government any of us will ever live through. We’ll forget that and glorify them and people will vote for them in 5 years but Boris was an affront to politics and his government were as corrupt as a South American one. Starmer is no angel and will be a flop but let’s not forget the Tories are bad. They are not your friends.
The only reset button he is going to press is illegal immigrants in ireland from 30k+ to zero over night by giving them all amnesty. Then start bringing in another 30k every year from 2026 when the new eu immigration pact kicks in.
The corrupted God in ROI forcing Magrants Pack in Ireland.... They house Islamic Muslims free health care.. while neglect to homeless Irish who should be priority
Dear Ireland and UK...getting along with your neighbours is key to a happy life. The majority of immigrants to England have been Irish for decades..so why they don't regard each other as family is a mystery..
Can anyone tell me why lowering corporation tax to12.5% to save the Irish economy is a good thing, and a Brexit wish to lower our CT to the same level is the crime of the century?
@@stephenhill545 - so why is that good for an EU member but a wicked exploitative attempt by Brexiteers to create a Singapore on the Thames in a race to the bottom, or whatever guff the remoaners were banging on about? Aligning our corporation tax with Irish levels would be a great way to boost the Anglo-Irish relationship that Simon Harris desires, some chance
BTW - I am English and a big fan of Ireland and the Irish people and would like nothing more than a closer relationship with them We had an enormously talented people on our doorstep with whom we should never have had an argument, they emigrated to build other countries when we should have joined hands to build our own countries
A lower corporation tax is supposed to promote greater investment in a country, but this never happened. When the corporation tax was 19% investment didnt increase and saw no increase in company movement to UK. Ireland win on convincing international companies is there tax breaks to nearly 0% while being part of the EU. The cant compete as its outside the EU.
Border poll now this will force Simon (a united ireland is not a priority)harris and keir(i can't be seen to be giving up northern ireland, but i want to starmer) legally to come to the table otherwise they never will the people have already spoken in how they vote but fffg don't want it they lose majority on the island and no PM can be seen to giving the north up
Under the terms of the Good Friday Agreement of which the British and Irish governments are co guarantors a border poll can only be called when the Secretary of State deems that the criteria for holding such a poll are met.
@@Alec-rj4rk Donegal, Cavan and Monaghan are part of Ulster but are in the Irish Republic. Northern Ireland is not Ulster that's why it's called Northern Ireland rather than Ulster. Once upon a time the British thought that the 26 counties were British, how did that work out?
Reset? Didn't Putin and Bush use that word in the past? As an Irishman living in the UK over 30 years, I think our two nations get along just fine without the interventions of the press thanks very much!
Harris say that the UK government at 2:29 but almost 2/3 of the voters didn't vote this government, so as a British person this Starmer government doesn't speak me or the vast majority of the British people that voted!!!!
Catholics have majority for years it time to come about a full Ireland 🇮🇪 of Ireland to come here in next few years that .wat needed .not getting colisise again
Good interview. Simon Harris has very good communication skills, certainly a lot better than Leo. The man has a silver tongue. He chooses every word carefully, if he wasn't a TD he could certainly be a diplomat.
Firstly. It’s Ireland not Éire. Also Ireland could easily afford it as they would modernise Northern Ireland’s economy as it has been neglected for decades. All the famous subvention from London is somewhat of a myth.
@@murpho999 1, Ireland (Irish: Éire [ˈeːɾʲə]), also known as the Republic of Ireland. 2, Irish Unity could cost 20 billion a year for 20 years that's according to a new paper from the Institute of International and European Affairs the 3rd is will both sides want unification? Apparently thats a "yes" if it doesn't cost more to the Irish citizens both North or South. Me? if they vote to join, then let them but the UK should not foot the bill.
Of course Ireland can afford the 6 counties, Ireland's tax surplus in €10 billion.... the tax revenue from the North is £19 billion in 2022 and the idea that Westminster gave the North £15 billion in 2022 (an increase from £10 billion in 2021), when there was no working devolved Government to spend increase and there was no increase in public sector pay or port infrastructure built.... it is more likely that the Barnett formula is a scam and that the money got pocketed in London.

Both him and Starmer will be out of there soon. They're both useless and charmless, and neither one of them was selected by the majority, but got where they are, because they were favoured by a system that doesn't work anymore!
@@adrianryan5654 he, as Prime Minister, gets to decide the date of the next election. His party have 66% of seats in parliament so a no confidence motion would not succeed. There is absolutely no way of removing him, and zero other party looks capable of forming a government in the short to medium term.
as someone who is Half Irish, Irelands behaviour towards the UK has been disgusting. Ireland is an anti democractic vassel state and the UK would do best to not help it one little bit

It was a 3.25 billion loan, and it has been repaid with interest of at least 610 million (not favourable rates for Ireland, so very lucrative for the UK). The final repayment was made over three years ago.
Giving us the oedipal Hilary Benn as NI secretary checks out with Starmers recently avowed Unionism, his support for colonists via his Zionism is echoed in his Unionism.
@ivanconnolly7332 Don't disagree with the sentiments but Ireland as it stands sovereignty is being rid over roughshod from within by a managerial class of "politicians" right out the same thought school as Starmer.
