Just the typical cyclist. Especially in rural areas, they are bellends. They ride on roads with national speed limits then wonder why people are driving at national speed limits. Get upset and want the roads changed to suite them even though there are 1000s of miles of off road tracks they can use to facilitate their hobby.

It's called SHARING THE ROAD..one reason I don't cycle anymore is for that reason..there are laws regarding how far away from a cyclist you should be when passing...everyone should be able to utilize the roads.

#4, It's not always about being one car ahead. I've seen this sort of thing umpteen times, and I'd guess that the Mondeo driver had tried a move on the Peugeot, and failed. Rather than admit defeat, Mondeo man determined to have the last word on the matter, and escalated to a dangerous degree. What he didn't expect was that Peugeot would resist as stoutly as he did, and it ended up with NEITHER prepared to yield an inch and risk suffering defeat. I mean, it's hugely entertaining to watch (I was secretly cheering the Peugeot) from a safe remote, but it was more a battle of egos to have the last word than a "get one car in front"

#1 looks like it could be a country lane? as a driver and cyclist myself I though he was going at a very safe speed, if you pulled in more he could pass and there would be no problem, but then you would have no clip to upload.

@@garyboyle695 Good question, if you watch the video again you will see it is a single lane with no room for for both of them too safely pass each other, someone has to give way and the only place to pull in is on the left on the cyclist side as there is no where for the driver too pull in, hope that helps :)

No.1 - if you look at the distance they both cover in the same time period - they are both going the same speed yet the cyclist decides the driver is “way too fast”! Just looking for offense.

As a cyclist the car driver did nothing wrong, he wasn’t going to fast the cyclist passed a high gap just so he could make himself the victim. There are enough car drivers who are completely nuts with cycles (see no 7 and 10 on here) but in this instance the driver did nothing wrong. If the cyclist had just slowed a little in the gap to let him past no issues!! Both cyclists and vehicles have to use the roads so a bit of consideration from both occasionally would go a long way

CYCLIST SOTH LINCOLNSHIRE: He slammed his brakes on because stupid cyclist started to come out on to the road again and it looked like he might have rode in front of the car. You had a clear driveway on your left and you should have pulled over and stopped waiting for the car to pass.

#1 take it you’re on a bike on a country road, where it’s probably a national speed limit and the drivers probably doing 30, yet you don’t fancy giving way when you clearly should (and you’d probably cry claiming a close pass and how vulnerable you are) yet they slow down and then have to stop because you carry on them have the audacity to tell them to slow down. That’s the entitlement that causes people to despise cyclists and you upload the footage thinking everyone will agree with you..

What I don't get is what if they were in a car? They would have to pull into the space on the left to let the pickup through. Why can't they do that on the bike? I've been driving and riding for years and adopt a similar approach to both. Give others space and the space gets created around you too.

#1 The cyclist needs to yield as he is right by a passing place. The car does not need to slow down from the 20odd miles an hour he was doing. 100% cyclist fault as he put himself in the danger zone when all he needed to do was slow down and move to the left.

#1, #7 Mindblowing how stupid some cyclists behave. Both have identified the danger, still keep paddling into it, just to make a point. No sense of self preservation at all. The only upside was that the #7 van driver was prosecuted. But next time ask yourself whether or not it is worth it. If you end up in hospital or the morgue you will not have earned any medal and your loved ones (if you have any) will mourn you.

Wow, a cracking case of victim blaming the cyclist in 7. If you noticed the Megane, he waited till it was safe, which is what the van should have done. But no, they force their way past endangering the cyclist. I would imagine the cyclist pointed this out, hence the driver backing off and then deliberately driving into the cyclist. The cyclist was doing nothing wrong and is entitled to expect to enjoy their ride without being deliberately mown down. Hence the conviction.

Yeah, very different in 1 and 7. #1 was no issue, cyclist must have been looking for drama. #7, cyclist did nothing wrong, van is way too close to him then decides to be a complete tool and start a confrontation. Ban was totally the right outcome!
