If someone snatches my handbag, I can just phone the bank and get my card cancelled. I’m just worried that you could lose your whole month’s money. I hope your bag is sturdy and attached to you - a backpack with very secure pockets, or something!
I think I'm going to return to cash I have tried split different areas different spending into pots but cash is better as more visual. It's more painful and registers more in brain and empty envelope than tapping card. Going keep half grocery money cash and half card as we have weird 2 week crossover as husband paid 30th and me 15th.
Great video thank you. I am enjoying watching your journey. I was in deep debt for most of my life, but I now just have my mortgage. I'm still a cash spender. But the cat has her own budget for food/meds, so I use my card for that & also for petrol. Just something I noticed, will the money not lay flat out in the wallets? That would really annoy me 😊 xx

Cats are precious and need their special food.. its great that you gave the cat a budget .. I love that idea. Actually the money will lie flat in the pockets .. they're made the right size .. I have no idea why I folded then up! Probably habit from having used a small purse for years 😅 x
I much preferred the old notes for folding. These new ones don't take folding so well. I use the note section of my purse now, but never used to. I have a vet budget & the cat then has £100 a month for her food, litter, bottled water etc (because our water is really hard, I don't want it furring up her tubes). I have a spreadsheet on my phone where I list my outgoings & what I spend, so I always have a running total of what money I've got left. I'm excited to see how you get on xx
@@annieg2288 gosh yes the new notes are a bit springy! Pets are an expensive thing really .. I had 3 cats at one time and cost a fortune to keep. A spreadsheet sounds like a brilliant idea 💡 🙂
I do sometimes yes. If I'm out a full day somewhere and want access to all of my budget streams. If I'm just out for a walk I might just take one of the plastic envelopes out with enough cash for what I need. It actually feels just like a slightly bigger purse 🙂
