Great entertainment alan , i am glad my match fishing is done as i do realise how hard it is . A lot of anglers dont work for a living like you do and also are sponsored . I watch all the stars under pressure to win and none of them are as happy as you so bravo.
Never mind Alan, you had some cracking fish and a great vidio once again.Youkeep going and enjoy it but really want you to frame.stay Mighty mate it will come.💪🏻💪🏻
Glad to see you at my local fishery and sorry you didn't do so well. I was pleasure fishing that day on the lake behind where you Dave and Tidsy were talking before the match. Hope you agree its a great and well run fishery and better luck next time.
@fishontvuk As a local to pidley, I fish it regularly if you pick Jay or raven , the margins ar a must. My good method is to put a couple of cups of groundbait with caster mixed, give it 15mins then fish for them, they never let me down most fish come from the edge worth a try next time.
You pair are. So funny and entertaining keep it up please!!! Great result Dave, bad luck Allen there is nothing more frustrating than having the fish in front of you and being able to build up a hot spell !!!
well Alan another match at least you had a fair days fishing Woody did well decent draw helped great video and fun chat better luck next time out tight lines
Haha that’s my saying but I think I should show the fish I get in seconds trouble is it’s in before I can turn camera on 🤣 not all the fish take that long. Glad you enjoyed 👍😀🐒🎣
Nice video as always Alan, still a big well done for trying it's not easy in a fish race. Keep going pal you will come good given the the right peg. Love the banter as well👍
Good effort nosher, had some serious lumps there shame couldn't back it up with a run of good f1s still a good days fishing beats a day at work. Great van banter again wi woody good luck to ya both at Barston.
Thanks Jase the Battered man manage to get you lot on camera 😀 your all a damn sight quieter then apart from Geoff good craic though thought you all did well 👍😀🐒🎣
Nice one Alan, I reckon you can net at least a 10lb carp in that catapult 😂😂😂😂, great effort. I am the same when you know you have a decent carp on the pole I take me time to land it, lost too many rushing them in… 👍👍
Rookery Jay lake they all fish long other bank, edge last hour, bucket loads of bait of course. Always found Jay hard personally, although my best results on paste.
You need to start trusting in your own tactics, from watching your videos you do better when you do. You are a good angler so believe bro. Kv Durban south Africa
Not a bad effort Alan. 80Lbs is better than 0 Lbs. I cant help but think that you could speed up your fish landing as when i watch you, you are always stretching to reach the fish whilst you have at least 1/3 behind you. Also you are very deliberate in re baiting your hook which of you take a 5 hr match could be costing you more fishing time. However I enjoy watching you as it actually helps us to learn how to improve our own skills. As per usual good video and looking forward to the next one. Cheers
Think you need some heavier elastic mate to keep up with anglers like jon they don't take more than 30 seconds to land decent carp but 80lbs is a nice days fishing mate!!
You be surprised what elastics they use and trust me I fished next to Jon he didn’t get them in any quicker either, he mentioned how crazy the fish were too. Heavy elastic asks for bump offs and broken poles. Most use 12 to 14 elastics unless near snags. Only reason I didn’t do as well is because I couldn’t catch ‘em. 👍😀🐒🎣
But what did you weigh in Alan ? Don't know how strong your gear was but I think you need to bully the fish a bit more, even if you loose the odd one. Cheers.
Hi Alan, Thanks for your reply, yes sounds like your rig is strong enough, and I do know your "mate" Jamie fishes as light as he can, to get more bites, so it all makes sense to me. Hope you get the golden peg at Barston. Cheers.@@fishontvuk
