rahtid! long time, man i effing LOVED Old Skool UKG: reminds me of the days when the 6 weeks holidays felt like a whole three months and crusing with mum and pops through South East to visit the fam...whoooooo
@@dasfinalgaming hahaha thank you for this made my day coming back here and seeing this comment all these years later WOW just WOW. K T wishing you all the best, happiness, gratitude and guidance x
Was one of my fave tracks too.. Other tracks off the top of my head are: Wookie - Battle. Roy Davis Jr - Gabriel. De Ryus - Grass ain't greener (MJ Cole mix). Love station - Teardrops. Ramsey & Fen - Lovebug. Masters at Work - To Be In Love. Shaun Escoffery - Space Rider (mj cole remix). And although probably more house than a garage track but one of my oldskool faves is Blue Boy - Sandman (Original 12inch mix). I hope you like some of them mate :)
This is an American group. Mj Cole did an amazing job of remixing Mariah Carey's Loverboy back in 2001. Also, Victoria Beckham has some great songs and garage remixes of them.

It's not dead. I thought it was. It's coming back, just look at what Disclosure have been putting out. A lot of that is quite obviously heavily influenced by UKG, even going back to like the late 90's... And those boys are young'uns! I don't know enough about UKG any more to really have my finger on the pulse but I know that it's still there bubbling under the surface. It's a groups like MOS who keep flogging the same old "classics" on their CDs, that give the impression UKG is dead.
Fuck the 10's this decade is turning out to be shit for music, bring back the late 90's all MJ Cole, Andy Gilbert, Sweet Female Attitude, Shola Ama, Sunship, the lot of 'em.
Wait, you mean one track, which isn't actually garage, has made the top 40? Shit you're right man, the scene is as healthy as it ever was.... And try reading a flyer and attending one of those nights some time, it'll be the loneliest night of your life.
