Please clarify that when you say 'current students' will get PSW for two years, do you mean the one who started their course in, say, Sept 2023 or also the ones, who will start in Sept 2024? btw thanks for all the concise info. you have been a tremendous help in all my UK planning!
Psw will be given only for PhD, Report to be submitted by the migration committee to hone minister on May 14. India was given 250% more visa since 2021 when psw was introduced.
Must all dependents be in the UK with the main applicant also during the application??Or it is only the main applicant( student graduate ) that has to be in the UK? 2) When is the deadline for the application of a postgraduate visa before the current student visa expires
"What would be the salary threshold for individuals who are currently on a PSW visa that is set to expire at the end of this year? Will the salary threshold be £38,700 or will it remain the same as £26,200? You mentioned that you guys( addressing whom ) fall under the new entrant rule where a lower salary is required. I am confused about what this means for me since my PSW visa does not expire until January 2025." Please help me with a little clarity.
If I enroll for a master's degree in September 2024-2025 intake in your university, is it possible that I will not be able to get a two-year graduate visa after graduating?because as you know, this visa under review MAC, and it can be removed or shorther to 6 months?
Hi Sarika, one query. If I have already taken my graduate visa with my dependent and now when my dependent if studies and take her graduate visa , can i be eligible to apply as dependent of her graduate visa??
Hello knowledge buddy, I am a PhD student in UK, I switched my student visa in April 2024 bcos I got skilled worker but now I am going to come back to student visa to complete my study bcos I got corrections after my viva. Please after when I completed my study and awarded with my PhD, I am eligible for graduate route visa?? Thanks
No, PSW rules will only come into effect from the date the rules are passed. Anyone who recieved his/her PSW even 1 day before the rules were passed will be safe.

Recently I have seen from 4th April 2024 Skilled worker can work part time anywhere. Suppose skilled worker as restaurant manager , they can work part time as chef / ofc admin etc . Can you plz make a video on this .
Ma'am I have been watching your videos for 3 months. I found them very useful and informative. Ma'am I am doing bachelor in BS English literature and linguistic and now my 8th semester is underway. Ma'am UK is my dream destination for master/mphil and PhD degree. So, Ma'am can you help me ? Universities names relevant to my degree? Financial sponsorships, aid or scholarships? Or any other mean by which I could accomplish my dream?
No changes yet to graduate visa. Title is a little misleading. But overall its good that PSW closes because i agree with UKVI that this route is being abused by low tier university students who just want to sit in UK do nothing and many work just part time low labour jobs in workshops. As per latest data only 16 percent of graduates are getting salaries in excess of 30,000 GBP and only 4 percent of UK employers recognize this visa option as opposed to student visa which is recognized by every employer making switch from student to skilled worker route easier than this graduate route. The only thing this visa does is buy time due to UK economic situation however the 2 year cap prevents employers from hiring people because for some random logic they have they want people on ILR or spouse visas to work for them. In short UK wants people to get married to locals here or bring switch to spouse visa rather than look for skilled workers. It is an extremely marriage oriented society like pakistan india.
That's not true and the salary package you are referring to was more for IT and tech graduates, engineers etc. Yes, it was mentioned that UK universities should not offer low-quality degrees where students don't land a proper job later, but this doesn't misuse the rule of the graduate route. No student can switch the visa from a student visa directly to a work permit. The employer can be arrested for misusing the visa and migrant.
Being on a phD, I will graduate in early 2027, now we were told we will have 3 years of psw, how does this affect students who are already here ? Shouldnt these new policies start with new students or will we be affected as well ?
Hi mam, its been heard from the news that the home office has adviced MAC to review the PSW and update on 14th may 2024. Im a student who is planning to go to the UK on april intake. My doubt is that if the psw get reduced to 6 months will the students of april intake will get affected or will it be implemented from September onwards only. Kindly respond
Hi, please don't panic as mentioned in the video there is no official decision and I don't think it will come, it's currently being reviewed and the UK economy depends on this otherwise it will completely be shattered

@@YourKnowledgeBuddy Thank you Sarika. No not for tourism, for permanent settlement. Can I bring them once I become UK citizen ? And by bring I mean how they can get UK citizenship ?
@@YourKnowledgeBuddy *Hi Sarika. I want to know more. Did you mean there's no way I can bring my parents to Uk even after my citizenship ? Then please can you tell me how all these legal migrants bringing / brought their Parents to Uk (not for visit, to stay permnently, as residents) ? Please answer this, I'm seriously planning to move to Uk - it's a very important question for me. If my parents can never move to UK then it doesn't make any sense I guess. I wonder how all these people even want to settle when they can't even bring their parents ?!! Please answer this.*
