pls Jodebeni, in filling those tryout forms most teams ask for your video in a match am actually saying this for some players in Africa because some dont have that facilities but later move to the u.s to play in the MLS NEXT with to strong football CV to prove that i want to know if those coaches accept such players in letting them go through tryout without any video but all you submitted was your information such as age,and all
It may be harder but if you have any doubts you can contact the coaches directly by email or phone. If you tell them that you’re an excellent player or you have people who recommend you and you didn’t have the ability to record in your home country, they may want to see you play and scout You should be okay for MLS Next
You are a whole W! I had asked that question because I thought I was too old to join a MLS Next team so I was more or less fixated on the idea of skipping the ‘MLS Next’ phase and trying out for a MLS Next Pro team. Is that a possibly do you reckon?
Yes 100%, If you are a quality player, pro teams are more likely to add you to the roster. Im too old for MLS NExt academy, so I can only look at the pro level teams.
@@JodabeniTV Right, that makes sense. I do have a question, In terms of looking for tryouts, I only came across two clubs that were holding open tryouts and I’m aware that there are a few other clubs that are joining the MLS Next Pro league in 2023. I wanted to know if there is a website or something that you guys use to see if there are upcoming tryouts?
Would you say that open tryouts are a waste of money if you’re trying to get noticed? Do these teams just use open tryouts as a way to make money or do they actually pick people that come? Love the videos man
