The best way to remove the badges would have been to use some heat from a hairdryer to soften the adhesive, they would have come off much easier with less mess.
stuart fillingham - Thanks Stuart, yes I see a few are saying that, I did start off with a heat gun but didn’t seem to bring much to the table, the second one with no heat seemed to come off easier. If I ever need to do again may practice on some test stickies!
Yeah I had to read those last 2 words twice! takes about five minutes of even heat to get though to the adhesive beneath then with a little pressure it usually lets go pretty cleanly. Be very careful using thinners on paint, the results can sometimes be quite unpredictable! @@DormanDiaries

I am digging how in newer pics the dent has bullet hole decals. With you blacking out the bike and having the mesh over the headlamp I think you should keep the bullet holes. It's rad and will help make the other wear and tear over time go with the look.

Hello sir, I’m planning to purchase interceptor 650 mark 2 edition, the only downside I found about mark 2 is it’s red sticker/paint on the chromed tank. So my question is that it is possible to remove the red sticker on the tank?
Looks better without that big badge on it, was that made of plastic? I’m changing my tank from the ravishing red to the Glitter and Dust chrome tank but thinking of also taking that badge off and getting the lettering to put back on it like you did. Where did you get the decal from?

Have you not thought about repairing the tank with car body filler? As someone has already mentioned, removing the fuel pump should give you access to knock most of the dent out. It shouldn't take much filler after that, just a light skim. Then a quick sand, some primer, and a respray. Also, I'm curious about the decals you've put on the bike, who did you buy them off? And, did you do a video, I can't seem to find anything?

Hi samkang20, I don’t want to mess with my standard pipes, it wouldn’t be worthwhile either really, With the replacements being as cheap as they are. Also I removed mine to save all that weight as well.
