Thanks bud, I do keep them, it’s just I have a freezer load at the moment so try to get some back if possible. I’m only local so can top up whenever I need 😉
Great video mate, only found your channel recently and love your approach. Let me add about fishing the jig, the best way to fish them is the way that works best on the day, there is no 'one-way catches all', I try every which way until it works - many times I've heard on a boat, "they are just not taking jigs today", which could be the case, but if you jig and and don't vary your technique, you could be missing out. Looking forward to your next video.
Thanks bud Glad you are enjoying them! Exactly my point, I vary from small flicks, long pulls to sharp aggressive retrieve until I find what’s working, makes me chuckle at times as I don’t care about text book stuff, I just concentrate on putting fish in the boat lol
@@joedennehy386 the reason I don’t go with the hooks at the bottom is because I do 90% of the jigging over wrecks and I found the bottom hooks caught up on the wreck structure too much 😎
@ukfishslayer Did I notice that you use the raymarine element fishfinder/plotter. Do you find that yours cuts out when you turn the engine on, mine currently does this? Just wondering if you found a way to stop this 🤔
@@alexnicklin9791 I did have an issue with it cutting out just for no reason, I found a combination of taking the navionics platinum plus card home and updating it with the newest uploads and then factory resetting the Raymarine (be warned you will need to put all of your marks back in) has stopped the cutting out
