With our boat, having some new navigation equipment fitted, we were unable to get out on the water.
Mike Cave from quality time, Fishing kindly offered to take Luke and myself out for a spot of fishing in the Solent. We had hoped that we would find the elusive Solent Cod. Plan was to leave Calshot around midday and fish into the evening, the first place we stopped was not very productive so after about an hour, we moved to some deeper water to find the tide.
