i think valid marriage certificate would suffice. when i applied for my visa- there was a big sign on the biometric office not to include private conversations on phones during the submission of documents.

I've been finding your videos extremely helpful, so thankyou for what you've done :D Question: If the documents are being uploaded, do all the originals need to be taken to the biometrics appointment itself? My wife doesn't have the original marriage certificate with her right now (she has a photocopy abroad, I have the original in the UK). We have a scan of the original. Is it sufficient to upload the official scan, and have the photocopy for her appointment, or do I need to post the original to her?
I think I’ve made a BIG mistake. We did the application form online and paid on the 20th Jan. But my latest payslip on the 21st of Jan and bank statement on the 21st too. I just knew the oldest document had to be within 28 days. I’m worried they will fail us because I’ve just read it documents can be after the date of application. I don’t know what to do.

U only need last 6 months of Pay slips and bank statements. WhatsApp chat for last 6 months 5 or 6 screen shots for each month and make sure that when u take screen shots then date of that screen shot should show on the top of ur mobile screen, its little tricky u have to move the screen up and down and then quickly take the screen shot so date shows on the screen shot. I provided 12 months because my husband changed jobs, so to be more transparent about the change of annual pay, provide a year of payslips and bank statements. 6/12 months depends on your own situation.

Can I compile all 12 payslips, the certificate of employment, bank statements(this could be separate if it is lengthy), and P60(if needed) into one PDF and label it as PROOF OF INCOME (year)? Hi Samad, you said that you submitted the appendix 2 VAF4A as a hard copy as well, but this form now it's the same as online one, ones you do the online application u Don t need that form to fill in as well.
I have a question - do the bank statements for 6 months need to show my salary for every single month? Like for the 5th month does it need to show my salary because my bank statements are given from the middle of the month to the next middle of the month but my salary comes at the end of the month. Hi do not need the vasf4a form. Is it all online now please explain “Appendix 2 of VAF4A - Should you complete this form? We no longer recommend completing and including the VA4A 2 Appendix form. This form has no longer been required since the new spouse visa 2021 online application form has been introduced”

Really helpful information. I got to know so much. Prior to coming across your videos, I had not even heard about VFS global , and there are so many infofmation in gov, so I could not really filter them properly. But watching all your videos I'm 99% sure on how to prepare myself. My only concern is you have mentioned about the VAF4A form, and did not get further infirmation. May be I missed something. I would like to know if this form has to be filled in together with the appendix, or separately. And where to submit them or if we even need to fills this form since the application should be made online. And someone also mentioned be about the sponsorhip form. VAF4A is the appendix form. I filled it in and scanned it as part of my docs. Not sure what sponsor form is? Maybe sponsor cover letter? Included that as well.

Hi! For IHS fee.. when they asked the expiry or validity date of your visa. Do you follow the BRP card expiry date or work end date on the CoS? Thank you! My BRP is only valid for two years but my work end date on the CoS is 5 years.

Our lawyer is saying we need to provide phone bills that show our phone numbers are registered in our names? Did you have to do this? Our issue is that both our phones are registered under our parent's names/ their businesses.

Tickets are "additional docs" and I assume most flight tickets are in English or have English on them anyway? Translations should be for important and mandatory docs
@@foodngems I was thinking it would only be for important and mandatory documents but it just occurred to me about the e-tickets. Some are in English, some have no English other than the passenger name. If the dates match booking confirmations and passport stamps it should be fine, do you think?

You mentioned the need of a Passport sized photograph (45mm x 35 mm). 1. Do I ONLY need a physical copy of the passport size photograph to stick onto the printed visa application form? 2. Or do I ONLY need a soft copy of the passport photo to upload onto the VFS website? I am confused on what is the purpose of the passport sized photograph and where in the process it is needed. Hi Jom, Thank you for your video. I have a question for you.... I am in the same situation as your hubby regarding employment. I changed jobs in May 2021 and I have currently been in my new job for 7 months (my salary is above the required threshold). I was going through the visa application with my Mrs online, after she added my current employment- she was given a CHOICE if she wanted to add my previous employment or not. Adding my previous employment was not compulsory.... My question to you is the following- Where did you get the information from that if your spouse changed jobs halfway through the year, that you must mention the previous employment? As a result, submit 12 months worth of bank statements and payslips (rather than 6 months)? Please could you clarify this. Thanks, Anwar
@@user-gn4pi6hs4o yes, I submitted only 6 months of pay slips/ bank statements. My wife actually entered UK last Friday:) we collected her Biometrics residency card from the post office. Our whole process took 6 months due to the Ukraine war

Hello Samad, thank you so much for this useful video. Allow me to ask. My partner and I are planning to get a spouse visa. I checked the gov uk page and it says (you’ve been living together in a relationship for at least 2 years when you apply). However we have been living in a separate flat although our relationship is longer than 2 years :( Did you prepare the proof, like bills written your name etc? Thank you!
If you're married then this rule doesn't apply. If you're applying for a non-married spouse visa then yes, you need to show that you've lived together for 2 years. Usually people apply for fiance visa in your case and get married within 6 months of being in the UK then switch to spouse visa.
