Thanks! The ilkley was unexpected on the pendo, my mate did one too in the 720s but you can't hear it because they're so quiet, someone else there might've gotten it, Brian was legendary that day.

Amazing video! I love the horns on the Intercity 225 sets on both locomotive and driving van trailer end - very distinctive. That Grand Central 180's horn at 1:41 must have been really loud as that's a LOT of echoing! Great to see some bits of your videos from the Berkhamsted / Tring meetup too in there, along side numerous other amazing arrays of tones. 👍😁

Thanks! Can't love the horn on a 225, that 180 was majorly unexpected, gave a little wave and got a big blast. Couldn't leave Berko out, have to love Brian's DV and tuneful tone combo too!

The best ones are the ones that make you jump, lol. The best one is the DRS shed that toned the platform. Liked and subbed.

How do u get the trains to sound the horn when train spotting

A simple wave does it in all clips shown, no need to ask for it. I also tend to go to places without other people/passengers so there's nobody for them to scare or annoy.

@@ElectraProductions225 well I was doing that at Hatfield station and only got 1 tone out of a class 700. All other trains just ignored me

@@thecornishsteamtrain123 I believed Hatfield to be a somewhat busy station. The curve and speed may mean that some drivers may not see you in time to adknowledge you.
