Tom, I just wanted to give a heads up incase i can‘t make it, I am feeling very slightly better this morning and managed 4.5 hours sleep. Yesterday in the morning when i woke up i had a terrible bout of the shivers all most like i was Hypothermic, Cheers Dave

Dave I think everyone has said it already look after number one because then when your feelings better you can look after others that care about you if you aren't happy with the way you're feeling go back and be seen or get some tests done just to make sure everything is ok with yourself but most of all get some rest so your body can get back to being well. Dude.. please take care of yourself... come on mate.. give yourself a break and let your wife do one of your videos for you. That would be a joy to watch for sure... seriously, I hope you get much needed rest and begin to feel better soon.
Dave, as everyone else has said. Close the laptop and rest! We need you better, so give yourself some time, talk to the doctors about your pain control medication and put your feet up! Or else! :-) hot and cold sensations could be the symptoms of an infection (I am in no way qualified, but have a medical family), so I really would strongly recommend seeing your Urologist pronto and not ignoring your symptoms

Pure assumption here Dave, but!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anesthetic can bung you up. I recently had my gall bladder removed and was constipated. Hadn't really noticed, being preoccupied with some abdominal discomfort. As it happens, I too have an enlarged prostate, all the poking around during keyhole surgery aggravate that, on top of the full bowel I felt pretty awful, much as you describe here. Eat plenty fibre, honey in your coffee, cinnamon on yer cornflakes, both fight infection. As Barry Sheen said..... There's the pain of getting hurt, and there's the pain of getting better. Keep an eye on your temperature, watch out for blotchy rashes anywhere on your body. If you notice either, get help, IMMEDIATELY. Take care dude.

Hi Dave, thanks for your message yesterday bud. Home now but like you, very slow flow due to my infection and a temp of 103.1 they couldn't lower for 2 days until they changed the antibiotics. Take it easy too bud as I have to but we'll get there. Just gotta heal.

Dave, as much as you'd like to be 'up and about' etc you need to convalesce and with hindsight maybe planning your UK trip was a bit ambitious etc Your main focus needs to be on YOU and if you feel bad you MUST seek medical help, especially after a hospital visit/procedure. Your body is has been put through quite a bit and is recovering...anything else is largely irrelevant at the moment. You really do need to rest up and take things easy...that includes posting videos.....
Dave, don't be getting up in the middle of the night and telling us about your health issues, tell the wife and do what she recommends. We might be excellent at recommending a part or a tool or a technique to fix a jag but the misses is the go to for advice on medical and other life related issues. We all want and wish you well.
