True, but it's a damn sight better than not having any weapon at all to counter a tank - plus, given that Ukraine doesn't really have the forces or the population to go 1:1 with Russia in Kursk-esque battles, hit and run ambushes while assets are en-route to the frontlines are their best bet to whittle down Russia's fighting strength to a managable size, which this quite handily fits into.

Aslongs the NLAWS and Javlins are fired from an advantage position then there's little the tank can do too stop it. The awsome thing with NLAWS they are designed for just that. I'm not saying the NLAW is a bad missile by any means, I just would be sh**ting my pants being that close to the enemy and firing at them. I would prefer to have the Javelin and stay back 4.5 km. The Javelins were actually invented way back in the 70's during the cold war and kept classified, because we didn't want the USSR to get one to copy and use against us. Go back twice that far and you are in the Vietnam era. Do it three times and you are in WWII. My, how time flies, huh? Wasn't here for the last world war, but my father in law was shot down as the pilot of a B24 returning from Ploesti (IIRC, it was a German target, anyway, oil factories and the like), and escaped. He was very lucky, not many did. It was fairly early, at least for escapes like his, and he helped author the escape and evasion material taught shortly thereafter. I know he flat out loved and respected the Poles, and their underground, after that. Brave souls. Kinda like Ukrainians, apparently.

NLAW and the Javelin seem like the perfect combination: short range effectiveness with the NLAW with medium to long range Javelin. Wonder what the optimal ratio of weapons is. If anyone knows: do the Russians have the capability to jam the navigation / targeting abilities of these weapons?

Casualties does not imply kia. Casualties can be kia, wounded(taken out of combat) and/or captured. The number of kia is close to 4000 latest i heard and times two wounded does not sound completely off considering how pathetic putins blyatkrieg is. I would say these figures are pretty accurate however im wondering about ukrainian casualties.

After 2 weeks of watching their invasion campaign in Ukraine. We can tell how strong they are. Russian military will not be able to deal with the strength of Nato forces by any level. There is no way for them to survive a month of fighting unless they decide to use mass killing weapon of nuclear bomb. This is a clear message for you Putin. Open your eyes and try not to overestimate your military for real, dude. It's time for you to retire and giving you heart to God to get his mercy.

Ukraine. The total area is 603,549 km². The population, according to the estimates of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine as of January 1, 2022, is 40,997,699 permanent residents and 41,167,336 people in the present population. All the remaining troops of Ukraine are sitting in the cities, so it seems that Russia is not coping. But the operation is going according to plan.
