G'day to you again Squire, I was called up in 1970 to go fight in Vietnam, wasn't Naturlised ,still had broad Lancashire accent,was totally shocked, I thought you had to actually be an Ozzie, long story short Failed Medical, but for awhile I was not a Happy Chappy!

That was interesting, I wasn't sure Canada had conscription, so I looked, yep, both WW wars. I know Canada had some, let's say, demons in the first WW, no rules, no prisoners. Aboriginal soldiers played a big part in WW1, 8 out of 10 of the top sharpshooters were aboriginal. I believe the top sharpshooter ever was The White Death, he was from Finland, interesting story. I'm not really a war history person, I like ancient history. You did a marvellous job researching and presenting with such enthusiasm.
