Ukraine Gets Major Air Defence Boost By NATO As Russia Pounds Kyiv With Missiles
At the NATO 75th anniversary summit in Washington, US President Joe Biden announced a major air defence package for Ukraine. In his opening remarks, Biden said, "Putin wants the total subjugation of Ukraine," however, "the war will end with Ukraine remaining a free and independent country. Russia will not prevail." Biden's speech comes amid doubts over his fitness to govern and calls to quit the 2024 race after a poor debate against Trump. New air defence support from NATO for Kyiv comes after recent Russian strikes. Ukraine's President Zelensky says the Russian missile barrage killed 43 people. Meanwhile, Zelensky in Washington faced questions over US elections. He said he could not predict what Donald Trump would do if elected to a second term but hoped America's support for Kyiv would not change.

Nonsense propaganda. Putin was scared of a revolution in Russia because of the maidan. If you research putin all he’s about is consolidating power. He’s killed all democratic processes in Russia and killed independent free media. He kills, poisons and imprisons political opponents and dissidents from nemtsov, navalny, magnitsky yushchenko, berezovsky, politskaya, litvinenko, karamurza etc and the list goes on. If his actions are all about the benefit of Russia then why has putin and cronies stolen billions of Russias wealth? His actions are not of a leader helping Russia but of a megalomaniac dictator all about his ego and power.
