Why didn't you show the band "Onuka", everyone who saw them said that their performance was the best of all the songs of Eurovision 2017, although they were only guests of the contest. It is a pity that Europeans did not see it on TV, because some idiot replaced the performance of the band "Onuka" with advertising ..... Ukraine are better at Eurovision than Sweden imo as they take different routes when it comes to their entries whereas Sweden always follow the same formula. Ukraine are also the only country to qualify from a semi to the final. And it's just a shame I can't select Marauv as my all time favourite Ukraine entry.

Thank you, guys! My favorite singer is Jamala. Her song rises so deep emotions... it's a masterpiece. We have a lot of great singers and usually during national selection can't choose whom to send to Eurovision to represent our country :) welcome to Ukraine ❤️🇺🇦

Ukraine sent so many great entries to Eurovision. It's hard to pick a favorite. I going to go with my fangirl heart there though and have to say Melovin is my favorite. :)

Best Eurovision country ever imho, should have won also in 2007 imho. "Wild Dances", "Show Me Your Love", "Be My Valentine", "Dancing Lasha Tumbai", "Shady Lady" AND "Solovey" are all amazing, and the rest (except for 2003, 2005, 2011 & 2017) all rank from good to above average as well, such a strong country!

Yet a wonderful reaction from two favourites on RU-vid! Ukraine always try their best. They've got ambitions. Their entries are not always in my taste, but they always deliver. Their songs always have a touch of greatness. Personally I've got a soft spot for Tina Karol's entry from 2006. But for the first time I wish I could've vote on more than one song.

Ukraine has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 15 times since making its debut in 2003. Since the introduction of the semifinal round in 2004, Ukraine and Australia are the only countries outside the Big 5 to have qualified for the final of every Eurovision they have competed in. Ukraine has a total of six top five placements, The only countries with more top five results in the 21st century are Sweden (12) and Russia (11).Ukraine has a total of nine top ten placements. Interestingly they got the two worst results when they are hosting the contest in 2005 and 2017.(19th and 24th). Except that they have always been among the favorites in other competitions.

What powerhouses Ukraine are!!👏👏 So many entries that i love.....Verka, Maria Yamamchuk, Jamala, Melovin etc but for me the quintessential Eurovision song is 2009 and Svetlana. So, so, so over the top, its magnificent.........everything and the kitchen sink in that performance......and only 12th?........a pure travesty!....but pure genius nonetheless👏👏👏👏

4 me Ruslana was the best, but i like also 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2016, 2018, 2020 +also Maruv - she was ICONIC, she would have been my favorite Ukrainian singer at the ESC 😂😏. Ukraine same like Australia has perfect qualification record! +agree about Loboda 🤤

Really 2020 is the biggest mistake because of the voice…. So 2021 the same voice give us 5th place! And the 2th place by audience voting🤷‍♂️ For me GO_A was amazing!😝

На мой любительский взгляд- Сердючка. Милое хулиганство. Все песни очень разные. Голоса отличные. Если разбираться, то Джамала совершенно божественно исполняет джаз. Гаэтана в совершенно божественно исполняет все в живую. Репертуар Лободы просто странный

Ukraine are one of the best countries when you look at all of their entries , few are weak , I feel like they genuinely try every year . My favourite is MÉLOVIN 2018 he was robbed by the juries and I still don't understand why , an honourable mention would be 2014 as at the time of the concert it was my winner ! I have to agree with 2020/21 I don't like those either but I can appreciate the artistry . Great video I'll be subscribing now to see more😁

The 2005 song “Together we are many, we cannot be overcome” was chosen for the contest because there was an Orange Revolution in Ukraine and this song became the anthem that was sung on the Maidan during those days. So they won the selection because it's a historical song for the country - read the lyrics. And the 2nd place was taken by Ani Lorak - A Little Shot Of Love

Maria Yaremchuk is the daughter of the legendary Ukrainian singer Nazariy Yaremchuk. He was just incredible, but unfortunately, he died early. His daughter continues his work. I highly recommend watching her video for the song “You are in me”. You will love it)

In 2010, Alyosha's song was about the Chornobyl tragedy that happened in Ukraine because of the Soviet government. So “sweet people, what have you done?” - is a reference to those days.

Without having seen the video yet, My favourite ever from them is Sweet People from 2010. Now to watch and be reminded of some other great songs I’ve forgotten about. ETA. Blimey they are pretty good every year. There were only 3 I didn’t like from that lot. 2016 win being one of them.

Well, just imagine what it would be like for Ukrainians to listen to Jamala's song if the words of her song are repeated to our people over and over again... russia has been doing this to us for 400 years. It is incredible, deep, fundamental to our culture. It introduces us to the traditions of Crimea, shows the intersection of the cultures of Ukraine and Crimea. And her music is very stylish, and her lyrics are really deep. With her voice, it's hard to make songs that would be trendy, but it turns out very well. For example, her latest song “Люблю”

My favorites are 2004, 2008, 2013, 2014 and 2018. I really like 2017 but they had the wrong staging for Eurovision. They should have kept the digital countdown clock from the national final for their stagin instead of the massive head. That's why it is not in my top 5. Verka is good too but not quite in my top 5. I really don't like 2009 and I'm not a fan of 2020 either sorry and 2003 is a boring first entry.
