AFU- Nato forces won't be able to hold ground in Kursk oblast for a long time. Their target was the Kursk NPP which they failed to achieve. The Akhmat Special Forces are conducting mopping up operations in villages and hamlets captured by them. They would eventually be killed or captured but won't to able to retreat back to Sumy border.

There's little doubt that russian has finally got the numbers for an articulated counteroffensive in kursk. In addition, shelling on sumy's supply routes behind the lines is proving fruitful.. Push to korenove was stopped and ukraine forces are pulling back in the northern tip. The assault was a booster to morale, BUT let's take a atrategic look. What will happen when they run short of supplies and reinforcements. The big question now is: was the ukrainian decision to commit its strongest elite units to kursk an intelligent choice provided that its troops all over south donetsk remain vulnerable and face a powerful push?

Ukraine made a strategic blunder with their incursions by blowing up the bridges, effectively blocking their own advance & leaving their forces vulnerable to Russian attacks, a,sitting duck witn no hiding place. This move, aimed at gaining a few days of media attention, has backfired, resulting in a situation where valuable resources & soldiers could have been better deployed to halt Russian progress on the eastern front. Now, many of these troops face a likely fate of being trapped & lost inside Russia, a significant blunder with little to show for it.
