Somehow the western war planners forgot this. NATO have a pretty large problem with the unified response, which is telling. As for the NATO members will be ready for Russia, it is also questionable as Russia building its army much quicker than european countries despite there is a war going on and they are sanctioned hard. If the war will go on for another 3 years or so, Russia will have enough army to march through Europe if they want to. Europe is waking up to the full magnitude of the threat, well Western Europe-Eastern Europe always knew it. And America, despite some MAGA nutcases, is largely behind Ukraine. Not only that but Russian financial reserves are running out and contrary to some artificially propped-up appearances its economy is circling the drain. So no, Ukraine has had some unfortunate setbacks, which is the way wars go, but if I were forced to bet the farm, I’d pick Ukraine for the eventual win.
