At least the young men wont feel anything anymore. But the thought of Mothers living their life out, with their sons killed, makes me sick. For both sides in the war.

You say that. But British Challenger 2 tanks I don’t think have any had any casualties in any conflict. Morden armour is often capable of being very very survivable in the event you’re struck.

Remember what General Peiper said to his officers at the battle of the Bulge, I want your men in front of my tanks. Handheld launchers would be a lot less effective if Russian Infantry was screening the tanks.

They've been pretty much obsolete since the first gulf war, they're ok against civilians or in very flat firm open ground but other than that they're a sitting duck and like you said their armour is now useless.

russian have only 3 person in tank - they use automatic loader instead of separate person to load gun.

If you look at the top of the screen at the very beginning you can see other vehicles further back and one appears to be firing on something. Also, it's hard to see with this cut but several seconds after the explosion you can see someone running away from the tank on fire

Regardless, the young men in that former tank are driving a tank uninvited in a foreign country.

Not defending but Russia has made it clear for 14 years that creating a military threat on their border (Ukraine's talks about joining NATO) would result in war. We delivered and now Putin is keeping his word. It's a bad situation.

Don't want to die? Don't invade another peaceful country and kill them. Your orders are illegal. Simples. Conscripted - find a way to disable your vehicle and/or surrender. Anyway I doubt too many tank crews are fresh conscripts.

Why dont you put that much energy in to all the other wars happening around the world? People are dying every day to terrorist, wheres the support for mexico or Ethiopia or the other 15 plus conflicts happening right now? Humans should learn not to inch up on each other and none of this would be happening, respect the space of all humans. Ive said this months ago and no one listens. I bet this particular tank crew didn't "asked" to invade Ukraine because grunts have no saying in starting an invasion but to do as they're told, and even they were wishing and eager to invade Ukraine, we'll never know for sure. If they did, then yes, they got what they asked for. I bet if they'd have had the chance to actually "ask" for anything, it would've been to go home, assuming they were normal, sane people, and not war junkies. With that been said, the tank crew that rolled over that civilian car some weeks ago, if they get blown to oblivion, (and I hope they will if they're not dead already), they would have truly got what they deserve and ask for. Otherwise, to me it's just another day in the office for the Russian invaders with the potential to kill innocent civilians. Some people might feel "sad" for Russians soldiers getting blown up in their big tanks, or helicopters, but I'm way more saddened for the innocent civilians (women, kids, elderly/disabled people that couldn't defend themselves) that have already been blown up *in their own houses* , or just walking the street, or even running away from the war. They also had families. So in any case, in my empathy/sympathy scale, the Russian invaders get the last place. And if their hands are stained with civilians blood, they have no place at all, because they have no honor, like that tank crew.

Not enough soldiers to provide support to each and every vehicle. 200k Russians in the invasion force and probably alot of that is not frontline infantry. Allied forces in Iraq suffered the same issue with humvees.
