From September 22 to 27, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the United States, where he addressed the UN General Assembly in New York, met with President Joe Biden and presidential candidates Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. A key purpose of the trip was to present a new Ukrainian ""victory plan"" to convince the Biden administration to quickly and significantly strengthen Ukraine militarily and politically. While the US announced the launch of a military support package for Kyiv totaling some $8 billion, the 'victory plan', according to many experts, turned out to be an intensification of pressure on the U.S. administration and a diplomatic failure.
Does the intensification of pressure on the eve of the U.S. presidential election have any chance of success?
We discuss the diplomatic situation and the strictly frontal one with Gary Tabach, former Chief of Staff, NATO Military Liaison Mission in Moscow (@TabachGary) and Olexiy Haran, Professor of Comparative Politics at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (@o_haran).
