From September 22 to 27, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the United States, where he addressed the UN General Assembly in New York, met with President Joe Biden and presidential candidates Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. A key purpose of the trip was to present a new Ukrainian ""victory plan"" to convince the Biden administration to quickly and significantly strengthen Ukraine militarily and politically. While the US announced the launch of a military support package for Kyiv totaling some $8 billion, the 'victory plan', according to many experts, turned out to be an intensification of pressure on the U.S. administration and a diplomatic failure.
Does the intensification of pressure on the eve of the U.S. presidential election have any chance of success?

Why should the US dictate what or where Ukraine used the missile they receive, Russia received the same from Iran and North Korea and used them on Ukraine.

Thanks, Don. President Zelinskyy is in a difficult position. He realizes that he needs to be able to work with which ever candidate wins the election, and of course, he must keep the communication open with both of them. It's a precarious situation for Ukraine. They are fighting for their survival and looking for assisstance wherever it can be obtained. As they must. But, the war is not lost just because this visit by Zelinskyy to the US may not have been as successful as was hoped. With everything to It's advantage, in 10 years of trying, Russia has only been able to occupy around 20% of Ukraine. Putin is grasping for straws and his army is stretched thin. We'll see what winter and spring may bring to the battlefield. It's nowhere near the end yet. As was mentioned, Putin's nuclear sabre rattling is still somewhat effective with certain decision-makers. Self deterrence has been the biggest stumbling block to western leaders' political will to stand up to Putin. He and his rag-tag army are certainly not invincible, as I know will eventually be proven.

It will be a very sad day for democracy, worldwide, when the U.S. caves in to a brutal dictatorship and is no longer a reliable world partner.
