LOL...Sorry for the extra calories! I am glad you are enjoying the content! Stick around, there is more to come! Thank you for watching and commenting!
Small side note: Cereal in many other countries refers to grains... Wheat, rice, rye, oats, barley, corn (maize), and sorghum. They are not really referring to the USA version of the word. It likely uses date or dry grapes to make a binding paste.
Regardless, that cereal bar was something you give people you do not like or are trying to punish. Not a fighting man! Just my opinion. Thank you for watching and commenting@!
Problem is these ration packs are ordered by people who never have and will never probably ever have to eat the MRE. They are just wanting to look good so they give something that seems generous but they know nothing about. Awesome video. Make them as long as they take to do you my friend :) I have to admit you have become my favourite way to spend breakfast time on a Monday morning :)
Thank you for the compliment! I really appreciate that! I am happy to be your Monday morning wingman! You are correct! The person placing this order obviously did not get a taste test of this thing! Thank you for watching and commenting!
I don't get why everyone hates on this ration, the only problem is that the jams and the pastes can never be opened without a knife (I've been issued it plenty of times and it's a fairly good ration)
We all have our own opinions! Taste buds are different from person to person. But I am in the process of reviewing a real Ukrainian ration (green bag) and there is a HUGE difference in taste and food quality. Thank you for the comment!!!
Well having eaten old schools MREs in combat(Gulf War) and Bosnia we do eat them cold unless we can leave them on hot engine or in the Gulf leave them in the sun. I can tell you in combat you’re glad you got food because sometimes the supply train is far from the front. Plus we learned to doctor our MREs we would make mulligan stew (a bunch of mains mixed together lol 😝) and you always had hot sauce since MREs are like hospital food bland. Last you don’t know bad MREs until you’ve had the vomlette egg and ham. Excellent video keep up the good work.(PS in combat you can have my coffee I’ve never drank coffee yes I know I’m abnormal)
First and foremost, thank you for your service! I am sure combat is a complete sh!t show and any food would be welcome. I have always said that my commentary is from a civilian perspective. I just want better for soldiers. They do so much miserable stuff as it is. We could feed them better! If we are ever in combat, I will take you up on the coffee! Thank you for watching and commenting!
Yeah, I was really wondering why Poland didn't just send their rations. I would have to imagine it would be cheaper than ordering them from Spain....But who knows why Countries do the things they do. Thank you for the comment!!!!
With all that was happening, The Polish probably paid the bill but the Ukraine got to choose options, I'd imagine they went for the maximum bang for the buck, don't make it fancy, give us lots of it.
That is possible. Though I am sure they did not ask for the most depressing and demoralizing ration possible...LOL. That is what they got though. Thank you for the comment!
Sounds like a good idea! But dig a trench? I barely have time to film and edit with work and all that. I will definitely consider an outdoor ration video in the future! But I have a feeling there will be very little digging...LOL. Thank you for the comment and cool suggestion!
It really was a biscuit fest! 375 grams of biscuits in one day is an awful lot if you have nothing to put on them, or dunk them in! Thank you for the comment!!!!
Poland already sent all of their MRE's to Ukraine. They are making more right now but in the meantime they paid Spain to make them some more. Some Pedro and Jose pocketed the money and send that shit to Ukrainian front
At 12:16 your comment make me wonder.....how do you know what a wet grandma smells like? I'm sure several viewers would like hear this story as well. If you listen closely at 13:42 you hear "like grandma" referenced again......odd. WOW at 15:58 we hear him reference her again. One of the boys on Block 2D heard this looked at me and asked "Yo this guy been locked before?". We have questions, lots of questions. They really did not think this ration through at all. Packing the crackers in huge bulk size packs when most soldiers are likely to carry over some to later meals with no provided bag or separate smaller bundles shows lack of thought. The MRE bag with that many loose items should have been a resealable bag as well but I feel they went the lowest cost possible with everything. Ukraine in it's current state (beggars can't be choosey) can't turn down anything. As far as you comment about you talking too much, all I can say is I can't type a complaint because my hands usually resemble what yours look like at 7:14 from the sound of your voice but that's another story.... I don't appreciate you calling me out publicly 34:49 I work with what I have. I think those look like pretty huge sausages to me.......well above average. Some of the guys are looking forward to trying your "Fudgepacker delight" desert. Great video!
@@RationNerd Nah you've just taken the topic MRE's which probably 50-100 others have have done and finally made it worth watching because you don't take too serious. It's food in a bag let's have some fun with it! Good channel, don't change anything!!
@@RimfireAddicted70 I won't change unless it is for the better! Otherwise, I am satisfied with my format. It could use a lot of polishing, but you know....this is the first time in life I have ever done anything like this.
Why the f#ck do you think you can take one from the front. My boy in the chosen company is gonna be SOOO PISSE.. just kidding. They get shit loads of free food😂
My friend, this is my opinion of the food. Everyone has different opinions about food. If you think this ration is great, then I am happy you liked it. I did not. We just have different tastes. Though I am doing the review of the real Ukrainian ration today. The Ukrainian ration is full of flavor! All of the main dishes have been excellent so far......
@@RationNerd lol, the standard ration is mostly disliked here and considered boring and bland I have a theory that people will rate foreign and exotic dishes far higher in general, would explain why everyone here considers the US MREs amazing and extremely tasty
@@Mike-ukr You are very likely correct! I can't imagine anyone liking the US MRE, when compared to other rations. But if it is new and interesting, it is always better! But to be fair, I have eaten a lot of different rations at this point. So I have sort of gotten over the new food phase and really been digging in to how it tastes, the calories and nutrition, packaging etc. Food is a really hard thing to talk about! If you have 10 people taste the same food, you can get 10 different opinions!
