Ukrainian Children in Romanian Schools 

Over two years of war in Ukraine have forced thousands of Ukrainian students to leave their native Ukrainian schools and switch to schools in Romania, a country where they found refuge from the war.
The adaptation process has shown that there are still many challenges and difficulties that need to be overcome, not only for Ukrainian students but also for teachers.
These challenges need to be addressed not only at the level of individual schools but also at the state level. Otherwise, attempts to effectively integrate into the new educational environment will remain just attempts, will be ineffective, and will not allow Ukrainian children to receive a good education.
