Even Muslims believe that Jesus was more than just a messenger, or it would not be written in the Koran that Jesus will return to defeat the devil. But how can a man argue against what he has not read and does not know? My only challenge for you is this: read the New Testament in the Bible. Pray to Allah to lead you to the truth. He had both human and divine nature-- human from His mother's side and divine from God' side. Because of His human nature He died on the cross. Because of His divine nature He resurrected on the third day. It is this resurrected Jesus that Christians worship as God. When you don't even know the difference between God and god you shouldn't be preaching to Christians their faith. There are several verses in the New Testament which imply Jesus is divine. John 20:28 is just one of them Do you understand logic? It says if the premise is false the conclusion can be true or false. If there is no verse in which Jesus says " I am God." that can mean He may or may not be God. There is no verse in the Quran that says Muhammad was circumcised. But haven't you read in the Quran, " When Allah creates He only says " Be" and it is created."? God does not need to do what men do . He can make a woman conceive by just saying "Be" and not by the sex act. So for us Christians Jesus is the begotten Son of God because He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and is dear to Him just as any begotten son is dear to his father.
