I knew it had to a be a sim because aerial combat typically involves 'seeking' missiles... not the the kind you shoot indiscriminately like from an artillery gun.

when I first watched i didn't realize it was a simulation but was suspicous that it had to be the move environmentally clean Mig-29 I had ever seen as they always leave a black smoke trail and found it odd I was hearing birds and not the engines.

Thought it was real for a moment, impressive graphics.

I wish I would have read the video notes before spending 12 minutes of my time watching this video! I appreciate the creator letting everyone know this is a video he created for our entertainment! Well, it was good enough to capture my attention. That is saying something about the creator's ability! About 1/2 way through the Video, I started having my doubts. Really it was before the 1/2 mark, I kept giving the video a few good notes which kept me interested. I hope everyone else enjoyed the video. Take Care, LiPo Man!

Uh... MIG-29 is single seat. The only two seaters are non-combat trainers, of which they have only a handful. So, no...there is no copilot.

Úspěšnost asi 150 raket totálně nulová : - )))) To se pak nelze divit, že Ukrajina ztrácí území i vojáky, když si na jedno letadlo vyčerpá arzenál raket na dvacet let dopředu : - )) Ale pochopil jsem, že ve videu jen hraješ Armu. Kdyby to byla skutečnost, tak se stíhačka nikdy nedrží tak dlouho v jedné oblasti, ale zasáhne rychle cíle, a ihned se stahuje zpět. To je otázka několika desítek sekund. A cíle likviduje na několik kilometrů, takže ani nelétá nad cílovou oblast. No a poslední věc je ten enormní počet vystřelených raket. Vem si, že jedna taková raketa stojí cca milion dolarů. Kolik milionů dolarů by ukrajinci vyhodili zbytečně, kdyby takto zbůhdarma pálili jednu za druhou s nulovým výsledkem? Takovou válku by neufinancovali ani amíci. Ale vím, že Arma je skvělý simulátor války, jen málokdo čte ten v ní obsažený polní manuál, jak se vlastně vede válka, a pak s dětskou naivitou vydává takováto dětinská videa. Ale nic ve zlém. Taky si občas zastřílím v Armě. Ale za Ruskou stranu proti Ukáčkám.

Unless there are targets, just flying around in evasive maneuvers doesn't do much good for flight simulator training other than learning evasion.

Uploader says in credits 'He loves making these sims for you and he's glad you like them'. Sim game ArmA3 created by RU-vid. I see why it does no good to complain, YouDuche makes the simulation crapware for potential customers.

They honestly write themselves that it is a computer game. It is immediately clear anyway: the Russians are firing flares (detectable bodies) to divert the missiles. But why should they be flying around for so long under constant and risky fire? They are not firing AGM missiles, they are not dropping bombs - so why?

That was a tremendous amount of missiles to bring it down. A great loss to Russia as he was a very good pilot.

Seems like the player pilots abandon the MiG rather than rtb so they could respawn in a new one with ammo. I knew this was a simulation when the MiG wasn't shot down immediately.

Questions 1 can anyone tell me what the pilots were doing? i seen a few straffs but seemed more defensive then offensive. certainly seemed risky in a heavily SAM'd area. 2 any idea what type of SAM's thise were? they didnt seem all that accurate.
