Hi Konstantin, just wanted you to know that I always like your videos before I even watch, because I always know I will like them. Thank you for these reports, and I am so sorry for everything you have been through.
I have to say, as a ukrainian from Mariupol, who survived f#ng hell, whose grandfather was killed in bombing, seeing russians scared makes my heart warm. Call me bad, call me bloodthirsty. I am🤷♀️
I cant blame you! People are easy to blame it all on Putin, but russian people (those within center russia) have been comfortable with him and taking his word since the 2000's. Let them feel hell and let them know they brought it upon themselves. There is no innocent bystander in russia.
I cannot imagine the absolute hell you survived through Mariupol. I am grateful you are alive. May you find some solace from this recent development. 💙💛
Why are they whining about this level of "damage" to their city? It looks pristine compared to what their army has done to every Ukrainian village, town, and city they could reach!
Not like they didn't warn them 20 times to stop being terrorists to everyone in that region for two decades. Hijacking Russia's main gas pipeline pretty much was the last straw.
thats exactly what i keep saying that they STILL do not blame the one person who started it its either because they still didnt get enough of it yet… or they do know and understand but are too stubborn to admit it …or they are really lost and deluded
It's just unreal how utterly removed these people are from reality. They have absolutely no problem with Ukrainian people having gone through the exact same situation for two-and-a-half years already. Now THEY have to take cover and/or run, but they don't see the irony...
WTF...umm really? It is like most Hollywood actors/stars, musicians, CEOs, politicians, etc. that think that they are above the law and are above "normal" people even when they still leave a poop everyday... Do you actually think that Putin gives two s***s about anyone but himself?
Russia is not a brother culture. France and Germany also are connected through history... USA and England share the same language.. Brothers? No. Where comes this trope?
@@AS-np3yq you know, that russians called ukrainians "brothers" and then destroyed their lives? ukraine has the same right to call russian women "sister".
Ukrainian service men have been very professional to those wining Russians in comparison to what there sons in service did to the Ukrainians in Bucha and on all other locations across the occupied territories. Never forget that.
I don't know how the Russians lost the cause-and-effect relationship. Majority supported the war in Ukraine for over two years, but now they wonder why the war came to theirs home-towns.
Germany on September 1st 1939: "Ab heute wird zurückgeschossen!" ("Today we began shooting back!") after we invaded Poland unprovoked. And people believed it. That's how propaganda works.
@@veganbutcherhackepeter OK, Germany is responsible for starting WWII, but, but, but... NOT ALONE !!! In accordance with the Molotov/Ribbentrop pact, USSR waited 16 days (sixteen) to invade Poland from the back, and Russia is the successor of USSR. They proclame they win alone the great patriotic war... but they win a war they started with their ally, AH. What's next step ? " wollt ihr den totalen Krieg " ?
@@gringoloco5989 I'm fully aware that Stalin was just waiting for Adolf to invade. Plans to devide Poland between Germany and Russia had long been hatched.

It's hard to believe the people of Kursk have been this clueless of what's been happening just 100 km from their home. Most likely they didn't WANT to know.
You saw Putins face when he found out about Kursk? He looked so pissed and scared, i never seen him like this, Go Ukraine! The boldest motherfuckers in the world, first foreign army to enter Russia since WW2!
In the documentary Ten Days In Mariupol there is a scene in the hospital of an old man howling in pain over the death of his 16 year old son whose foot was blown off by Russians while he was playing soccer. My tender hand never leaves that man's shoulder, and I will never forgive and I will never forget
Constantine, the people knew what was coming, they plead with fear and despair, but they wear shirts that proclaim “I’m not sorry.” They don’t learn any humanity, humility or respect. Always thinking of themselves unapologetically. I hope Ukraine doesn’t overextend themselves. I wish them success.
From a strategic point of view I don't think Ukraine can hold this territory for a long time and /or advance. Why? They don't have enough soldiers there and in the rear. It's a distraction, forcing Russia to employ more troops and equipment there. Having difficulties in Donbas where the Russians advance piece by piece and threaten important Ukrainian towns, I don't think it's a strategic win rather than a tactical move that pays out as long as they can stay there without big losses themselves.
Ukraine is probably out to do two things -one, wreck anything that has military use in Sudja because there is concern in Kyiv that the town is being used to host and support Russian formations targetting Sumy. Two, they are also there to help relieve Sumy and Kharkiv, as well as possibly other areas further south. There's chatter in Ukraine that this attack on Sudja is having the exact desired effect, Ukrainians are pushing in Vovchansk and are (re)taking territory. I don't expect the Ukrainians - low on manpower - to stay long in Sudja. Once they have taken out whatever it is they need and have Russian forces hot on their heels they will most likely retreat back to Ukraine.
I’m so happy that the Russian people are starting to understand what a war is. No one should die but Ukraine has suffered enough, died enough, injured enough and the dead children can rise up to explain to them that they died for nothing but Putin and the hate. God make this the beginning of the end of the war in Ukraine 🇺🇦
The cognitive dissonance among the Russian civilians in Kursk is staggering. I saw a video with a group of people asking Putin for help, even saying "We supported this war!" It's like their mentality is "How could our support of this war have possibly boomeranged on _us?_ "
That's not cognitive dissonance. Cognitive dissonance is the instinctive refusal to face an unpleasant reality regardless of overwhelming indisputable evidence due to its potential negative personal impact. The people you mention aren't in any manner denying the reality of their situation rather than expressing their strong dissatisfaction at being abandoned by the regime they supported.
@@harryricochet8134 "Refusal to face an unpleasant reality regardless of overwhelming indisputable evidence due to its potential negative personal impact" seems to me the very definition of what those people were doing. Their basic message was "How could this possibly have happened to us?!" Uh, have you not noticed where you live? Have you not noticed that your country brutally tried to invade a peaceful sovereign nation based on the gibbering paranoia of an obviously demented dictator, and that you happen to live right by the border? Their disbelief in their own situation is the cognitive dissonance. Or to use a less fancy term and concept, simple denial.
I have to apologise for my bitterness, I was in Ukraine When this all started, they came to our village guns pointed at me and my daughter, they where laughing like it was a comedy show!! Hatred is not good, but when you see only the monstrous act they commit its hard not to label everyone the same. I try not to but sometimes i just cant,.
That is why Konstantin's show is important. He is literally the only russian I am exposed to on a regular basis that isn't despicable, who is clearly a moral and loving person. The single righteous man for whom God showed patience to Sodom and Gomorrah. I'm so sorry for what your family has been through.
Me: Damn, the Ukrainians didn’t cry and complain like this when their cities were bombed and their homes were taken by the soldiers you old ladies say ‘you supported’.
I don't think she just woke up for the first time. I think she's feeling emboldened by the fact that nobody's going to stop her from saying it because they all watched the same thing happen together. Those words only come from years of pressure. The woman trying to appeal to leaders for help is the one halfway through discovering the truth for the first time.
The fact that the Russian troops fled first and just threw mines in the street on their way out without concern about civilians that might also want to leave...
Probably being totally indifferent when it affected Ukraine. Now its cry me a river when it affects her. She needs to call Putin out for starting the war.
23:49 all you need to know. They're addressing Putin, begging for help, and saying that they have been supporting the "special military operation" from day one and that their neighbors and relatives are "protecting Donbas", so they're left all alone.
You don't know her situation. She could oppose the Kremlin, she might just not understand the political situation or be too terrified to protest, she could have been brainwashed You shouldn't revel in the suffering of a civilian.
Blaming civilians in authoritarian regimes for the actions of their leaders is literally victim blaming. Do you get out and protest your government's actions, at no sifnificant risk to your safety? She would be risking being thrown into an inhumane prison, maybe dying.
Unfortunately this is not true. You're projecting, because in a democracy, where people have a say in what their government does, you would be right. Russia is not that. Nothing you think makes sense as a westerner makes sense in Russia. The ruling elite couldn't care less about the suffering of the average Russian, and the average Russian can do nothing. Inflicting pain on Russia only feels good to you, but it achieves nothing. Russia can only be subdued by inflicting enough pain on the ruling elite (which Ukraine can't do by invading the Kursk oblast), or by bringing Russia down economically.
It reminds me of how a majority of German citizens were positively shocked that they were losing during the spring of 1945. They never imagined war would reach their houses. Most people just live with heads in the sand until the hunter starts pocking them personally.
@@GarrFagen Incorrect. After initial widespread usage in the Wehrmacht led to incidences of uncontrolled violence, Pervitin was strictly controlled from 1940 onwards. By 1941 it was available only by prescription and not issued to members of the Wehrmacht in amounts of more than two pills. Withdrawal caused both elevated episodic aggression and severe physical exhaustion thus totally negating any benefits. Incidences of unauthorised usage were rigorously prosecuted by the Wehrmacht.
I wonder if the population will join the dots and see it this way. It's often difficult for us to see our own misfortune as a result of our own complicity or inaction.
@@paulketchupwitheverything767 they won't. This already happened in Shebekino - it wasn't that big, but still lots of artillery, mortars, people had to evacuate. They only cried about Puting come and save them. Like it has nothing to do with Ukraine or like it doesn't exist at all.
Well you don't live in a dictator country where your forced to fight a war you know is wrong against your neighbors or die In a jail. I don't agree with you. The person responsible for the death of so many is the one who should be held accountable not the Russian people who had no say in this war. They couldn't even hold up a blank piece of paper in protest against this war.
The russian woman at the start, sobbing because she has lost her home, made me physically sick. Like ALL Russians, she knows exactly what russia has been doing for over two years. She knows that 10 million Ukrainians were displaced in the first few months. She knows that cities have been razed to the ground. She knows that hundreds of thousands have died. She has known this, but CHOSE to live in silent support, voting for Putin, deep down believing russia is a great imperial power that has the right to do what it wants. She made me physically sick.
hat I note the most in the reactions of the Russian civilians portrayed is that the women have the courage to speak up. The men all keep schtumm and look even more frightened than the women. Who's actually wearing the pants in Russian society? Certainly not the men if this upload is any reference to be considered.
Seeing Konstantin eating popcorn while watching Z people crying over their home being invaded - one of them being dressed in a T-shirt that says "I am not sorry" - is something I will remember for sure.
I am sorry that ordinary Russians are suffering like this, but Russia did far worse things to Ukraine. I think it is necessary for Russians to understand that Putin started a war, and a war will affect citizens on BOTH sides.
I can't even believe Putin even told the world that Ukraine was doing the same thing he has been doing for over 2 years. And the WHOLE world said to Putin "And?"
What I found ironic was the Russian woman begging for help while wearing a shirt that says, 'I'm not sorry' Maybe she should be a little sorry about Russia invading Ukraine
From the second strongest in the world, to the second strongest in Ukraine and now the second strongest in Russia. Oh how those who told us they were mighty have fallen.
The Ukrainians should hold a referendum now that those lands have bene liberated. I saw a feed that said the Ukrainian army has advanced to within 20km from the Russian nuclear power plant. I hope they secure it and turn it off.
My Russian wife is from the city of Stary Oskol not far from Kursk. Her friends in Stary Oskol told her today they're leaving to go to Moscow before they get attacked by Ukraine. She told them you need to get out of Russia while you can.
The best part: that complaining Russians at 25 min about being invaded themselves. The Lady on the right side is wearing a Shirt with „I‘m not Sorry“ printed on it. That pretty much is their whole opinion about the Invasion of Ukraine. Now karma will s coming back to these people - and guess what? The world now is saying „I‘m not sorry“ either.

@@Matthew-wn8oq "In 2000 Putin told George Robertson, the Secretary General of NATO at that time, that he wanted Russia to join NATO but would not like to go through the usual application process". It was like you want to apply for a company by breaking straight to the CEO's office and demanding the position immediately like you the boss here, of course no one would approve! Putin has never been serious about it. Even if he did, he would still have to get approval from 28 NATO nations at the time. These nations joined NATO because they were feared of Russian aggression, do you think they would agree for Russia to join and mess with them? Even the friendly nations of NATO like Sweden take years to process and get approval from every NATO country. Russian application would take forever.
I've seen a video of a Russian living in Sudzha claiming the Ukrainian flag is flying over the state admin building. He said he talked with a Ukrainian soldier who told him to 'Learn Ukrainian and expect a referendum.' I think that's about as close to a confirmation of occupation as you can get.
And that is what the Russians have done for years in Ukraine. So they get a little taste of what is happening to Ukrainians. They even do not get medical treatment as long as they do not apply for a Russian passport.
I hope the Ukraine forces show they are better than the Russians and protect the civilians as they evacuate. Regardless of what little mercy Russian troops had on Ukrainians when they invaded. 🙏
Thank you for covering this so diligently Konstantine. You’ve been amazing throughout all this and you and your family have been through much. Much respect from Texas 🇺🇸✌🏼
Meh. I like Konstantin, but it's not exactly hard...you just repeat whatever the news tells you, then add in "Just 2 more weeks! Just 2 more kilometers!".
Those Russians supported the SMO from "day 1" on - until THEIR OWN houses are destroyed. Now they're crying. Let them feel what they've done to others! 😡
I’d run if I saw the Ukrainians coming too. Dear God,no navy and they destroyed the Russian Black Sea fleet, shortage of men and munitions and they shoved the Russians out of parts that Putin wanted to keep. Intelligent, determined focussed people. Putin underestimated his neighbour. I have NO pity for these folks.
Should I feel ashamed ? I find it so hard to feel sad for these people. Ukraine was attacked and has suffered for years and years…. So many families, homes and facilities bombed and destroyed. So many killed, civilians - children, elderly, women. Is it on time that the russian people understand the horrors in Ukraine they have been supporting or neglecting
You can not imagine what would you do if you lived under a dictatorship and were fed by propaganda every single day. Many of these Russians are simple people. They are not evil, just simple. They are used by politicians. So yes I feel sorry for them too.
Youre angry at a civilian woman who has lost their home in a war? Not cool. Take a break from the war if you're not able to separate civilians from the governments and militaries

My house in Mariupol is also gone, and neither is my parents’ house. “Be patient for two or three days, you will be released” - the words of relatives from Russia. It was their turn to endure; the boomerang law has not been repealed. Every tear of a Ukrainian child will not remain unavenged. Maybe I am putting it very harshly, but I wish everyone who supported the attack on Ukraine to experience everything that we experienced. Lose everything: home, family and friends. Konstantin, thank you for your understanding, I’m very glad to meet you.
We should still be sad for those Russians who didn't want war there are few but they are out there... They can only blame their government for bringing this upon them.
Remember that one Yougoslav "communist" University teacher in Moscow Anton Ciliga wrote a book about Soviet Republics in the Thirties and the title is THE COUNTRY OF THE BIG LIE .
Ciao, empaty seems not existing as a dimension of russian common thinking. Peoples in the video were complying only for themslves; perhaps also a little bit annoyed by the lack of help after they have supported authorities for the war in Ukraine.
In a dictatorships, which is corrupt to the bone like in Russia, the gouvernment will certainly not help their people. The officials and administration will flee with their money first. It is tragic, but also kind of commedic, that the Russians don't realize that they are robbed and then abandoned. I am German and I stand with Ukraine. Slava Ukraini.
It is only fair that Russians finally feel the pain Ukrainians have felt for over two years. WAKE UP RUSSIANS! The war is going on! No special military operation, it is a full war against Ukrainians. Russians have kept their heads under the covers and enjoyed summer holidays. It is time to wake up. Slava Ukraini. Thank you Konstantin for your program. God bless you and keep you safe! Greetings from Finland
The aggressor isn't the victim until the leaders of Russia is the victim. The people are caught in the crossfire and whatever they did to help cause the situation it wasn't enough to deserve the situation but there is no better realistic way.
@cyberneticbutterfly8506 not sure you understood what I meant and may be my fault. I was commenting on the video content where he was wondering how come Russian leaders including Putin, are complaining to international community of Ukraine aggression, meaning they are playing victim.
Hi Konstantin, You posted a video with Putin reacting to the Ukrainian invasion of Russia. His body language told everything about his state. I saw a very, very nervous man, fully in panic and totally not knowing how to deal with this situation. Not a leader anymore, but a lost soul, waking up in his own created nightmare. PERFEKT!

Dostoyevskiy explains it in the Brothers Karamasov (The Great Inquisitor): Freedom is a bitch because when you are free you have to face accountability for whatever you do with no-one left to blame, no-one left to point the finger to but yourself. ("Ooooh! Putin and his lackeys! They forced me! They coerced me! They manipulated me! THEY made me do everything I did!") That's why they still keep Putin in power.

Bless you for sticking to your principles and all of my respect for sacrificing being away from your family and home. Maybe one day you all can relocate here, if the good and decent Russian people cannot democratize your nation. Your motherland has everything needed to be a tuly world leader, one that could be taken as seriously as my nation and/or China.
