It's not a bluff, but a reasonable action that is difficult for the weak-minded to understand. There is no need for nuclear action and everyone knows that very well. A special danger is the Ukrainians who will do everything to make it happen and will be the first to produce a nuclear tragedy just to get their hands on something. It is easy to attack undefended territory with small army or civilians and that is Ukr specialty in the war before Special operation. The entire front is falling apart and they are launching an offensive on Kursk where they employ elite units and huge equipment which is btw. half has already been spent (units and equipment) and those forces could have made a huge advance on the front line, and now they are just the obituary.

If it weren't for NATO's help Ukraine would be in a very bad spot already. Zelensky is constantly asking for more ammo, money and weapons. That said Russia completely failed to win in two weeks.

I was watching a video of Russians in Moscow reacting to the Ukrainian incursion into Russian territory last night. Mostly it was older people taking the diehard we need to need to "de'nazify" line and calling for a hard response. Than it was kind of funny there was one young man wearing an NYC cap dressed like a preppy American saying he would serve Russia blah, blah, blah. Most seemed to be more mad at the government for putting them in the position they were attacked and lacking the capability to have prevented it. One guy even pointed out how Wagner Group with only 25,000 had been able to penetrate Russian security and get almost to Moscow. I see Putin's days as numbered and that most Russians just want it to end.
