They are paying homage to our ancestors who departed, and it's a way of appreciating for keeping our Kingdom safe, and that they have continued watching over us, so alot of food stuffs are represented to them and it's been given to them by pulling all we have prepared, ( fried meat, fried chicken, groundnuts and locally brewed alcohol) into the ngona river. And our ancestors will be happy. This is our culture as the people of mwansabombwe as lunda speaking people.
