I love these women ❤, I remember them preform in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Gave me strength 💪. I love listening to the drum beats and song! Gives my heart to be stronger and carry on. Hold your head up, with every drum beat make stronger step and don't look back because it's history! Smile with pride with every step you make, because you are strong!!! Thank you sisters for your vocals and drum beat. Makes my heart stronger!
The ancients walked into what was to become America, the indigenous peoples of Siberia have Ancestory because they stayed behind while their brother and sisters went further an d became Indians of America ,, God bless them

For years I worked out with friend whose family group were the first American Indian Grammy winners. Sean’s a GENUINELY Great guy with a great sense of humor! Connection? As kids they played quite a few shows with Ulali & he had great stories of it! LOL, ages ago when we first started working out together he was surprised I knew about Ulali...but not about my mispronouncing the name! Thanks for sharing this FANTASTIC clip! When they all soar into that high note it gives me shiver bumps every time!
I love 1st Nation People, lived with them, worked with them, made friends. Even though, they have nothing to be happy about, they are always cheerful with a great sense of humor! What a people!!!
Very Powerful! Gave me chills and made me cry. Captures the story of the ancestors from way back. I made soup with the original group years ago on the Lac Courte Orielles reservation when they came for a performance during the Anishinaabe way conference. Was a great experience.

Anyone know how to get in touch with the writer of this song to ask for permission to sing and share? I sing with multiple indigenous groups here in Seattle and would love to earn this song 🧡🧡🧡🧡
It's in one of the videos for the movie smoke signals. You will have to dig for it. I remember I had to go through like 20 videos to find the translation.
