goldfish can endure maximum of 5 gram salt per liter. I think the amount of salt you use wont have much impact to the fish as you will change water regularly as a result the salinity will drop eventually.
What should I do if all four of my goldfish has gotten ulcers? Plus when I put two of them together back in the baby pool that I just cleaned, they start nipping at the others ulcers or red bumps on their scales. What should I do to help?

I really need help for my goldfish it had maybe four pimples on its stomach itches red color and three days back I put three spoons of sea salt and they’re just getting worse I really don’t know what to do if someone knows please respond
Aquarium salt are pure, not added chemical iodium like normal/kitchen salt. Better research compare with epsom salt, as I know used in filtration tank for purify water
Put heater and increase the water temperature to 30°C and put some aquarium salt or u can put those ich medication, be patient and wait for about 2 days.
My fish is having the same problem. Have you checked your water parameters? Make sure your water is good and try this method! I have tried salt and methylene blue dip. It hasn’t been working out too well. So I’m trying putting crushed aquarium salt directly onto its skin now like this video. Good luck!
@@rm4790 OMG I tried the same, it dind work... But the fin is still red... I'm changing water regularly now hopefully my fish gets better... Thank you so much 🙌🙌❤
The fin could be permanent damage. I’ve had red streaks on the tail for 6 months now and it never went away. If you look at his fish properly. You can see its tail has some red streaks too in this video!
My Oranda is having white tumor like growth. I trimmed it and gave salt treatment and API medicine. But later it came back again. Any idea how to treat tumor?
Shoni F'dez no it’s supposed to have it on its head it will always grow because it’s the orandas life cycle the grow it on their head for mating don’t cut it off
I wanna hold a goldfish bc I just wanna feel it now I got to ask my friend if I can she got her goldfish at a school thing and she still has it it been 4 years
its due to high ammonia , they get red spots on thier body .. change the water and stop feeding , feed after 2 days then 1 feeding day and 1 fasting day and so on do not over feed goldfish they are always hungry and messy fish ..
