At VRR, we’re using sustainability standards in our product development for the very first time. The impact this is having on our approach to designing ULDs is incredibly exciting. In fact, some of our internal processes have undergone a fundamental change. We’re innovating, and we’re loving it!
In a previous video, you saw how and why we’re creating sustainability standards in the manufacture of ULDs for the benefit of the wider industry. In this video, you’ll see how we’re scoring the sustainability of our air cargo containers and how that insight helps our design engineers.
In short, we’re doing a lot of research, testing and complicated calculations at VRR, but Lead Engineer Bop Westerduin takes it easy on us and describes in simple terms how we’re putting these sustainability standards to good use. Please watch!
