Jeremiah, the hanging during harvest at 3 o'clock is because there is TOO much water in the ice maker mold. let the unit defrost again, take a paper towel && soak up water from the mold & turn the unit back ON. If there is TOO much water in the mold during harvest fingers can hang on the really big ice cubes. Alan ARSCO, Inc. Dallas GA U-Line Service
The reason the arm stops at the 4oclock position, that’s when a heater on the underneath side of th I/m turns on to heat the tray. Once it heats the tray the arm will start moving to push the ice out. The heater melts the ice just enough so it can turn loose of the tray. Either the heater or the thermostat that controls the heater has failed. Probably failed because the i/m is leaking water on the controls. I’d suggest to invest in a new i/m assembly.
We have had one of the Uline undercounter fridge/ice maker models for years. When it is working, it is awesome. About once every 2 wks (summer) to a month (winter), the ice maker stops, and ice has accumulated in the refrigerator side. We turn it off, let ice melt, run cleaner through it and it starts back up. This just does not seem normal. Is there anyway to stop this from happening? Or at least so often?
I defrosted my Uline ice machine on my boat and when I turned it back on, only a little water pumped into the tray. Made one round of ice and it isn't pumping the water into the tray anymore. Is there a water pump on the units that might have burnt out? It's an older unit that came with my boat. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I know it's been 5 months but there is a solenoid that activates to fill the ice tray with water. It's the part that the water hose screws to should be blue or white with an inlet and outlet. They are replaceable.
After how many minutes of operation, ice is made, and where are the maintenance places in Egypt? Because it was moved from one place to a new place. The motor is working and cooling, but without making ice. What are the reasons and the solution?
Uline ice maker model CLR 2060: We are having issues with an ice block forming in the middle of the ice cube mold. We cleaned it and same problem leading us to have to defrost everything. We observed the water flow and it seems that in the middle of this mold, the water is not flowing causing the few drips to hit it and freeze. Not sure whether there is a clog or malfunction of whatever feeds the water here. Any suggestions as to what to do next? Thank you. R
I have a U-Line Automatic Ice Maker 2002 ULN SP 188-03 and it was making lots of ice and then it stopped and the box heats up..Can anybody tell me what is wrong and what part I need to replace Any info would be greatly appreciated...Thank you
Thanks Larry, appreciate your reply, will pull the whole unit our, as it is in a boat, and check that and hope that is the problem and not something costly $$$$.
Im no expert, but I read somewhere if the arms stop at the 3-4 'o clock position, the IceMold heater is not functioning, and freeing the ice so the arms can push it around and out to complete the cycle.... could be the heater itself or the micro switch that powers it.
we have two model # UADA15IMS-01 undercounter Uline icemakers that are brand new but are building up with ice on the inside. We had a tecnical rep out to look at them and were told by Uline that there is no way to stop this. Is that true?
make sure your door gaskets are making good contact with frame all the way around....[no gaps], also if this unit is NOT auto defrost, then you will have to manually defrost it periodically depending on how many times door is open and humidity in the air
