thank you. very clear and informative. this will save a lot of money for a lot of people. now just trying to source the right parts and the right quality parts!
Thank you Milen for yet another educational video. Could you please explain further, why a professional pump does not come with a diode, but others do? what is the diode for? Is that because a non-professional one only performs effective pumping one way, but a professional one performs effective pumping both ways? Thank you.
Hi! Trying to fix my father’s 1999 espresso machine brought me here. When I opened the top lid for inspection upon the machine’s lack of operation I quickly realized the issue lies within the vibration pump. The wire connecting the pump to the power vibrates a lot, but there’s absolutely no flow of water to the pressure bell of the espresso machine. Before I mess up the pump, I wanted to get some info about the machine. The pump in it is the Ulka EX5.
I forced water using syringe form in let side, heard something realease once under pressure, probably the valve. Reconnect inlet pipe and now working.didnt have to remove pump.
Milen, I love your passion for fixing Coffee Machines. Thank you. I have Saeco-Espresso-Italiano-Super-Automatic-Espresso-Machine with Error 15. Power turns on , but 1 minute later spanner/wrench error 15. Should I look at the Temp sensors?
Milen I don’t know where you are from but I would be proud if you were from the balkans thats where I am from 👍 thank you very much for this kind of videos very passionate and without any BS 👊 just facts 😷😷😷😷😀😀😀😀 Greetings from 🇭🇷
The problem is that you can not find the plastic ball. In my case I have replaced mine whit a "Majorca 4mm perl". It works fine for more than a year. I can not find a "mushroom rubber" replacement. Have you anything to suggest ?
Hi Milen - can u pls advise where I can buy the replacement kits you demonstrated in one video - the O rings and the little plastic balls ? My Pump doesn't seem to be putting out enough pressure as the gauge doesn't move - but coffee comes out and also same with steam and hot water - they work but slow. I am thinking I need to replace parts on the pump ? Thanks
Thx for the video. I want to replace my Ulka EP5 with a Fluido Tech 70w 230 v pump. Do you know how to wire it up correctly as the Fluido Tech has no diode? I assume the middle connection goes to ground which is no problem to connect to the housing of my machine. But how to figure out where neutral and live goes? If it does not have a diode it's possible to make it run the other way around right?
Hi Milen, I hope you see this comment. Were you able to find a replacement OLAB pump shown in the video? I have the same pump and having trouble locating one online. Any suggestions?
Hello, thanks for the video. My Olab Silent Green (k09342, on Lelit PL62X) just died after 10 months. My retailer replaced it by Ulka EX5. What do your think of this? The Olab is not supposed to be better ?
Здравей, много хубави и поучителни видеа правиш много съм ти благодарен за всичко От къде купуваш съчмите и клапанчетата за малките пружинки на помпата? Благодаря ти :)
Hi I bought a used EAM3000 espresso machine, can You tell me how long the water heating should last? (from switching on to standby when the cups leds stop blinking and machine strat flushing)? it takes one and half minute (90 seconds) my coffee machine and I think it's litle too long, but maybe it's normaly? At work we have the ESAM4200 espresso machine and it takes 25-30 seconds to heat it up after power on. I know that ESAM4200 and EAM3000 has difrent type of boiler, but is there such a big difference between these machines? Or maybe my heating is broken?
The coffee machine heats up for about 40 seconds up to 3 minutes it depends on which boiler model is fitted. One of the models have two heating elements 2 X 600Wats and sometimes one of the heating elements burn out. Then the machine heats up for a very long time. Another defect is when the thermal couple that monitors the temperature of the boiler is damaged.
Hello, i recently purchased a lelit mara pl62 coffee machine. I noticed the flow of the water is rather slow, making it difficult sometimes to reach 9 bars while brewing (the opv isn't the issue because it reaches 10 bars when using a blind filter). Are there vibratory pumps that have a higher flow rate then others and if so, can you place them in your machine?
Hello, thank you for this video it is really helpful. I have spend few hours trying to find mushrooms valves and no success. Please help me where i can find them. Thank you!
Hi, my OLAB 22000-07-100-1-R vibration water pump doesn't work anymore. I have another pump but it is a model 22000-15-065-1-R. Would you know what part of the pump (the coil or themiddle part) produces 15bar on the new pump (or 7bar on the my old one)? Can I put the middle part of my old pump on the coil of the new one? Thank You
It's a while ago but I think I replaced stronger spring or maybe I replaced the plastic ball. If I just connected the pump on electric cable it worked but I didn't had chance to try to mount it into machine and test it because someone gave me only pumps to fix.
I didn't see on EBAY a big quantity of plastic ball and oring like you show on the video. (bag with quantity of 305 units). Can you share your supplier information?
