It's not violin but viola di gamba played with guitar arrangements. Viola di gamba can be seen as the ancestor of cello. It is also played with a bow only put on crossed calves. No spike like the cello. It belongs to the string family. It was very common in France & Italy during XVI, XVII & XVIIIth centuries. Of course, it still exists today & is still present in classical music.

Yes, stunning clothes. Absolutely beautiful, timeless - clothes I dream of. I wish the editing had been done so that each piece could be seen in full for longer, barely time to drink in the beauty. I know that would have made the whole film longer; personally I could easily have watched at least 30 mins of this collection.
Love the colour palette, flowing fabrics, nod to the Edwardian era sleeves, no to the animal prints however disguised, listened in silence so can't comment on music. Lovely show in all.
I didn't want this to end. Fabulous music - a fantasia on a famous and evovative C18th melody? played and recorded with such clarity; gorgeous venue befitting the artistry of the clothes; a sensitive presentaion allowing teh clothes to be savoured by playing at half speed; perfect scale and proportional use of the interrior space in the cinematography; and the clothes! all the romance of folk culture that the 'seventies tried to capture is re imagined here, but better. The models' take on this collection, and their styling, is spot-on. Bravo!

I love venues like these. I am such a hopeless romantic that I fell in love with this video within seconds. Even the music made me wanting more. The mix of textures, patterning and layering was everything. Three things that I love when it comes to my personal style. I got all in one collection. Very pleased with this. The jackets are my favourite. Statement pieces are everything to me. It makes the simplest looks stand out. Each outfit gave me the right amount of "wow" factor without having to do too much. Even the "busy" looks meaning wild prints still felt toned down. European influence for sure. Thank you Ulla!
