I'm okay with the vocals not sounding the same, it has been almost 40 years but... this rework not having harmonies like the original is what makes me sad :/

I’m sorry, but this is more offensive to my ears than the moaning (which some remasters have mostly eliminated anyway.) But I’m still very grateful that the Booth brothers put so much work and effort into this and I’m still going to buy the album to support them.
@@aiborland4835 The vocals and chorus are separate tracks, the chorus includes that interlude you hear at that mark which they found at a recently passed friends house
1. They probably worked really hard to find the original vocals, but they were only able to salvage some of them. 2. They were in their 20s when they first sang this song, so its no big surprise their voices sound different here (I mean 40 years is a long time) 3. They were really happy to have had this song found, and went as far as to remaster the song to the best of their ability because they cared this much. If you don't like the remaster, okay cool, no one's forcing you to like it. But it's no reason to undermine these guys' efforts to respond to a 3ish year search that they were unaware of until that one person found the source.

Heard the whole thing, it does not sound good unfortunately. Love and respect to them for trying to re do it for us, but it just doesnt sound good at all. But hey, this is just one persons opinion that has followed the EKT saga. Lol
im really glad im not the only one who thought this. i see everyone leaving comments like "it's been 40 years if course it won't sound the same", but it's still really offputting, especially the vocals. they just sound so... weird compared to the original. the original sounded professional, this sounds like a parody boy band
@@zentono8932 I get that. I get that this is the best they could do. And I'm grateful that they care about us this much, really. But that doesn't really change what I said, I still find the new version super offputting. It may grow on me eventually, though
I understand that they tried their best for the sake of the fans, I appreciate it a lot, but really this version of the song isn’t too great… I hate to say it
the album is done, and its already been sent to digital services. They are just waiting to for their specified date of release. Its the 30 second snippet.

If you read his post from 23 hours ago, that starts with "ULTERIOR MOTIVES LOST ALBUM!", he says "It's in the processing stage right now", and in an answer to a comment he also says that it should come out in two weeks. So which one is it?
@@mikethespike056 he means it might take a few days to process on platforms on spotify that take a few days or weeks to add it but it’s fully done and has been delivered to youtube music already!!
Honestamente creo que las voces no son buenas, además de la producción, la desafinación, el destiempo, la inexistencia de buenos coros en el estribillo. Es algo decepcionante... Pienso que ya que van a lanzar el instrumental, ojalá alguien regrabara las voces para devolverle algo de vida a esta versión.
Thiss. Bien podría alguien separar las voces ya sea del original o de este remake y hacer un buen mix con el instrumental, incluso hasta poner un poco de Auto Tune en las pequeñas desafinaciones. Ojalá, porque no se hizo justicia a la canción:( Igual, amo a los hermanos y se agradece mucho su esfuerzo.

It is horrible to leak this. The creator made a whole album over this song and was excited for the actual release date. You went against his wishes on purpose. It is okay to be excited about the song but you can wait for the band release.
@@whoisrayen It was unnecessary. The creator was obviously upset about this. He made a banger album for the fans of his music and it is disrespectful to go against his wishes. Plus the real release was only like a week away, you can be patient.
Im really happy they went throufh the effort to recreate this, but their recreation sounds much worse than some of the fan versions. The guitar is perfect, but the vocals are also not done in the same manner as the original and that violin sound they kept playing sounded really bad. I have a lot of respect for the booth brothers but im very disappointed with the release, and i honestly feel myself preferring some of the fan recreations as much as it upsets me to say
