Thank you so much. If you order the Derwent Lightfast or the Pablos, you will love them both. They do both lay down very differently. The Pablos work beautifully in the Amazon printed books and Johanna Basford books. The Derwent Lightfast are a dream to work with on the Springhill paper I suggested in the video. Lol all I want for Christmas is my own set of star joy pencils along with other kind of sets so I can stop borrowing my friend's sets and feel bad that I used them and bunch of coloring books. Lolol

I have the CD luminance portrait set, the 20 assorted set, a French grey, buff titanium, and an extra white pencil. I don’t have full set syndrome so what I have is enough for me 😁! I also have a small set of Pablos (set of 30). If anyone would like a small set of Pablos the color selection in the tin of 30 and 40 pencils is beautiful. What made me love the Pablos, was the paper. I used them on a coloring page I printed on ‘Astrobrights Premium Smooth Cardstock’ 176 gsm 65 lb ‘Formerly Neenah Bright White’. The Pablos glide on the paper and blend very well. The cardboard sleeve that was around the tin says they are wax based, so I was a bit shocked at how firm they were! Now I’m used to them, and now I’m a huge believer that paper is key to getting the best from the Pablos.

Great video! Unfortunately, you made me spend money😧😘. I had to buy the Color it gel pens, both glitter and regular. Also had to buy the Uniball signo silver and gold. I’m saving up for more luminance and Pablos and I also want the Supracolor.👍🏻👏🏻🥰😘💝💖💘🇨🇦

I am a new subscriber and have a question. My almost 9 year old granddaughter saw my coloring on Thanksgiving and was amazed on my pumpkin coloring. I would like to start her on a beginners pencil set and some age appropriate coloring books. Love your channel, I have learned so much.

As for books, maybe some Johanna Basford books. If she loves flowers maybe World of Flowers. I would also look at Nice Little Town by Tatiana Bogema or maybe some of the Ava Browne books.

Do you recommend putting colored pencils into the cases or keep the in the tins? The tins can fit easily into my drawers, however I’m so worried I will drop the flimsy plastic layers and then the pencils will be all over the place. It hasn’t actually happened yet though.

I have most of my pencils in cases. I do still have some sets in tins, but I find that those don't get used as much. I love seeing my pencils in color family order laid out in the pencil case. It makes it so much easier when they're in order and swatched. It helps me to plan out my coloring pages much more this way rather than just grabbing for colors.

Ohuhu has a new set of 320 alcohol marker now so the 36 skin tone set and 216 brush and chisel combo set isn't the full range anymore. hopefully they release a set to complete those soon.

The new 320 is not a brush tip alcohol marker - they have a chisel on one end and a fine tip on the other. The set you see in the video would be complete with the 36 skin tones if someone is looking for the brush tip alcohol markers.
