My only regret for dendro is that Electro stole Geo’s thunder. Imagine if c6 Noelle could be an withering dps but they just buff electro (which was needed but geo needed it even more). I’m honestly so happy that I can bench my Kazuha and Bennett but I feel bad for how much of an misopportunity they made with Geo and Dendro which could’ve saved characters like Itto and Ninguang being forever B tier
@@azalea9409 Noelle doesn't really need any more help honestly. She just breezes through abyss 12 enough already, even if you need specific geo supports.
I dont think hoyo will ever release universal weapons like homa or jade cutter ever again... Hahahah. I think theyve realized that it will kill the sales of newer weapons, hence why all their newer weapons are hyper specialized towards their respective characters.
Got alhaitham c0 and his weapon. He's doing crazy good and I've never had more fun with a character. I also have Raiden, Hu Tao, Yoimiya, Childe etc. but he really is a beast. Doing 55k spread DMG twice+28k DMG without spread with 3 mirrors in a full team is so good. He's doing over 1,2mio dmg in 12sec and completely destroyes every abyss floor. So if you like him and can somehow provide him with a good team: go for it. He's so fun to play
@@szucsadam0527 82 em on flower, 100 em on feather. The rest are EM main stats, Nahida full EM buff, dendro reso, & GD 4pc. The initial is just 448 em. To get him 1k EM this way, we need 550 em. 800021499 you can check it if you want.
I think this whole new mirror collecting system was really needed for the game. I mean Genshin has no skill gap tbh, anyone can play good with a well synchronized team and good artifacts. but now, you have to pay attention to your character, skill usage and team combination. Also I love where this game is going with this Elemental mastery system. Everyone was so obsessed with CRIT DMG/CRIT RATE. Simply refreshing.
There was also Klee with her passive allowing her to have a buffed charged attack that cost no stamina and have 50% more dmg but the indicator for when its availlable is so trash... hard to see and looks exactly like her burst.. a small floating thing.. gladly they made it very easy to see on Alhaitam
*Pull off 6 consecutive instances of rain blades with him. You don’t need to count seconds. Just look for visual clues. Here’s how to maintain 3 mirrors:* 1. Cast Burst (Q) with zero mirrors. He’ll get a refund of 3 mirrors. 2. Do normal attacks (don’t do charged attacks at this point), and procc 2 instances of rain blades. 3. When you see the 2nd instance of rain blades, cast his Skill (E) to maintain 3 mirrors. 4. Do normal attacks again (still no charged attacks) and procc 2 more instances of rain blades. 5. When you see the 2nd instance of rain blades, now you can do a charged attack to maintain 3 mirrors. 6. Do normal attacks to procc another 2 instances of rain blades. That’s a total of 6 consecutive rain blades. 7. And then you can just spam his infused attacks until his mirrors run out. It takes practice and familiarity to do this. So be patient. But once you nail this, the satisfaction is so awesome!! 🤘
Since I have Xiphos Moonlight on Kazuha. Having a Kazuha in my Aggravate team makes him hella crazy. Alhaitham, Kazuha, Kuki, Nahida. 100% Uptime on bursts. He has 4P Gilded, 131% ER, 81 Crit Rate, 207 Crit DMG, and 300 EM. Full rotation gets His EM up to 980. (C2 Kazuha)
He feels like the strongest classic dps character we've gotten in a long while. Scara and Cyno were't too standout, Tignari is standard banner, Ayato is a jack of all trades master of none type, and Itto is geo. Alhaitham feels STRONG by comparison. Feeble scholar my ass. Edit: I'm well aware that Nilou is good. However, she's weird and I don't know how to class her. She's in the same boat as Nahida/Yelan. Not exactly the classic on field dps character Alhaitham is.
It's all thanks to his element really. Hyperbloom generally is just a broken reaction and any other future dendro character would be able to perform on a similar level. No hate, but he is carried by his element and there's nothing wrong with that.
The happiness I felt pulling him in my first 10 pull, no Xinyan, loving his play style and now I still have almost all my stocked primos to try to pull Yelan or at least C6 Xingqui and/or Beidou. The amount of hype I have cannot be understated.
Same here I got him and Yao yao day 1 in my first 10 pull and I was guaranteed with 1 pity (got Diluc prior at 20 pity) and I'm so happy coz I always lost my 50/50s and hitting pity. Saving my leftovers now for Yelan and Dehya.

2 waves of mirror dmg, THANK YOU! that's so much easier to manage! such an easy cue and don't have to count seconds or normal atks. I play on my phone, so i often just spam touch the atk button without knowing how many atks actually happened, and when i'm in the middle of a battle time often pass by faster than when I'm not, so it's really hard for me to count, plus i have to dodge which is almost impossible on a phone, and manage character rotations and their HP. Thank you for making my life easier!
I wonder how the Sapwood blade would rank in terms of viable weapons for him. The ER can help if you couldn't get much from substats, it has a relatively high base attack and the 120EM provided at R5 is really good as well

@@Abil10103 Yeah Xiphos is probably his 2nd or 3rd best 4 star weapon depending on the team comp. Crit r/d is better if you're playing spread. We also just got the Yokai Umbrella R5.
He isnt even that hard to manage nor is he that energy hungry if you have another dendro unit with him. Personally i slap my traveler with festering desire and i havent had any energy issue with him. None of my other supports use favonius swords.
Thanks for the video! I follow other creators like Zajef and Zyox as well, but I like your guides the best. The length is just perfect, editing is great(I like the various Genshin soundtracks in the background, chapter titles are nice), and you give a nice explanation while showing the math as well. @@Mandrew249 They are way more different in term of playstyle, build, and combo. The only thing that similar are they both could use quicken and have 2s of similarity in visual animation only.

@@arahaitham123 well they do have similar playstyle (and team)in quicken team, you will need 2 dendro 2 electro (but keqing can use anemo for vv) A bit of difference is keqing mostly do a quick swap combo due to her low cd and shorter infusion, alhaitam is on field longer Maybe The correct way is alhaitam is similar to cyno(long in field long infusion) And keqing similar to tighnari (quick swap,re apply buff and support faster) All i mentioned is a quicken team, might be different if you use another comp and reaction
One thing I would add to your videos is putting the icon of the weapon you're talking about during the weapon chart showcase, a lot of names were unfamiliar and I had to google them up on the side to remember what they were. Other than that tho, great video as always, and great charts as well!
Well, I get your point and it's a fair observation, but from my point of view every player with a decent knowledge of characters is able to understand which weapons he is talking about. I don't mean to be rude, I'm just saying that it's a request that is quite heavy in terms of work to do for him and it's on the other hand pretty much useless for the viewer since it's not hard to go search the name and 99% of us know what he is talking about. I really don't mean it in a rude way, pls don't misunderstand, but I genuinely think that if you are new to the game or if you don't pay much attention to those things it's not really fair to ask him to do more useless work.
I don't think adding a few extra pictures on the screen is "quite heavy work", the hardest parts in making the video are all research, recording, and spreadsheet management. Editing is more like a jigsaw puzzle. I play the game a decent amount, but even I forget the weird names of the parasol sword and Ayato's sword and such. If he doesn't want to add them, so be it, but I think it's a sound suggestion and literally the only thing missing from an otherwise perfect video.

Absolutely love his gameplay i just think mihoyo was a bit too strict about his mirror generation/consumption. Like why does his skill only generates 2 mirrors when he has none, it just complicates his kit needlessly. Also his ult only generating mirrors if he had none and his burst also consume mirror, like why?
Just follow the guide and don't worry about it. If you don't like complicated stuff, don't think about it. IWTL gave you a straightforward process so no point in complaining.
You can manually shoot your skill up to follow up into a plunge attack to get a triple stack without your burst. It kinda works if you don't run 2nd dendro or don't have enough ER, it would just mean that your 2nd rotation is shorter cause you don't have ulti. You can also try a quickswap team where the combo is e - plunge - 2 shards - burst.
It's how they give him downtime. His burst damage is definitely underwhelming in the normal way of playing him but that sword rain is so good and you get 12 seconds of it. After that you can continue until his infusion runs out or just swap out and set up your next rotation or battery and his burst will be ready to go again after the setup.

I know that it's only been on one weapon banner that not many pulled for, but it's amusing how overlooked the Xiphos Moonlight is on guides. Sacrificing the dmg passive of Iron Sting/Umbrella for personal and teamwide ER% can be really valuable one someone like Alhaitham I think.
Personally I'm using Xiphos on Kuki when I'm not use Kazuha in another team since she share more ER to the whole team and a good amount for Alhaitham and he also having a lot of DMG thanks to iron sting
Its the best 4 star weapon for Kazuha (R5 more expensive than his signature). I have R3 and can run him on 1006 EM with 200% ER (achieving both is quite difficult you need a EM piece with ER substats). I don't think it's that good for Alhaitham unless you run full EM which is ineffective in DMG comparison. Kuki can use it as well if you don't have Kazuha.

I started playing 5 days ago and have gotten decent lucky with pills. Got raiden in about 30-35. Then I used 30 to hopefully get lucky on alhaitham and ended up getting him a few single pulls later. He’s so fun to play and strong
From what I can tell, you can't activate his C6 for his Burst. Since the only way to generate a 4th mirror (for his C6) is to wait for his burst to end.
I run him as the only dendro in my team with so much ER and EM, he is a beast Plus if you understand how the mirrors work, you can get the best out of him, truly
The Upwards E + plunge is very inefficient, since you waste at least one second of the two mirrors before getting the third. Wanna get all 3 immediately without burst? Aim at the ground. Like, beneath you. Then release and press na. He will still perform the plunge, but since he's already on ground level, it will hit immediately without wasting time airborne. And that's an instant 3 mirrors with full duration.
18:36 Either I missing something, or it's not 5% loss on his Q. Shuffling crit stats from 100/200 to 90/220 results in ~0.7% damage loss on his burst. If we assume more sane stats 65/130 (40cv per piece + base) shuffle to... ~77.5/105? 87.5/175 buffed. We end up with ~1.8% damage loss on his burst. Further down with 52.5/105 (30cv per piece + base) → 65/80 (75/150 buffed) damage loss will be ~2% on his burst. And all that if we assume we are comparing apples to apples as in when we start burst with the same number of mirrors while in reality we are more likely to start with burst before C6 while at C6 skill+plunge/charge into burst seems like completely logical thing to do.
Very astute! My algorithm shuffles around all stats including elemental mastery. I decided to maximize his 3 Mirror E procc. Because of the excess amount of crit damage, the algorithm gave Alhaitham 136 EM instead of just pure crit stats. Since his Q doesn't scale as well off EM, it loses more than just shifting the crit stats around.
@@IWinToLose Ah, that make sense. But then, again, full damage from C6 Q should still be significantly higher than before C6 due to using it at 3 mirrors instead of 1.
I'm gonna do 50 pulls for him, but if I don't get him and I get some other 5* then ill have guarantee for Dehya in next ver ;) Edit: Got him on 36th pull ,yaoyao too ,well dehya pulls will be making me sweat
If you care about spoilers regarding dehya’s stats dont read!!! The leaks say that as things are standing now she looks utterly shit. Not even mere buffs could fix it but rather a complete rework.
Running him with another dendro should solve that with 130-160 ER. Or just let someone run a fav weapon on team. Mostly it would be Yelan with fav warbow on a hyberbloom team variation.
His play style is more fun to me than playing nuke like Eula or Hu tao. I have Eula talent 10/10/10 but i never use her again since Tighnari's first banner release😅Even in spyral abyss...
Basically HoD is his best f2p option but iron sting is just more comfortable so if I don't have issues with his HP (Kuki constant healing, Xingqiu DMG reduction and small healing, etc) I'm fine
I have YaoYao use 4 set Deepwood Memories and Raiden use 4 set Millelith alongside John Lee while Al Haitham use 4 set Gilded Dreams (340 EM 60/154 Crit Ratio) and HoD(+28/44 Crit Ratio). It's shocking that he deals ridiculous damage with this kind of Weapon and Team setup, I wish I had Nahida tho, an EM Boost would he nice to have for Al Haitham.
He came home! Now I have one on-field dps and off-field sub for each element! Dendro: Alhaitham and Nahida. Anemo: Wanderer and Venti. Electro: Shogun and Fischl. Cryo: Ganyu and Rosaria (still have to build Rosaria tho). Pyro: Hutao and Bennett. Hydro: Childe and Xinqiu. Dont ask about Geo.
Wish Black Sword was in the weapon comparison, it's a low budget option much cheaper than weapon banner pity and specially attractive to those of us who have bad luck rolling crit circlets.
That is a LOT of unbuild 5* weapons.... Al Hathiam has been a suprisingly good "bored pull", he does a metric ton of damages. Great video as always :).
He was a mirror maiden. The 'mirrors' floating beside him is the drop from mirror maidens. His burst is the same as a mirror maiden burst that reflect laser off mirror pieces. Hence he is not a dendro keqing.
Honestly I am having the time of my life with Alhaitham on 2pc atk and 2pc dendro dmg with an off field Nahida with deepwood, I am dealing about 10k per sword hit (x3) and + his really high damaged infusion strikes I am pretty consistently melting enemies, PS I have him at 400 EM with 70 - 220 crit, can hit 400 EM with dendro res, Nahida burst and RNG on artefacts
When you're using his burst to keep 3 mirror uptime, it doesn't make sense to prioritize its scaling over your normal attacks. Do S, NA, Burst. Unless you're c6, you aren't getting max scaling from his burst. It's still important, but it's not as big a part of his damage before then.
Yes, this is a good point. If you're mainly on-field 3-mirror, E > NA > Q If you're quickswapping primarily, Q > E > NA I should've clarified this a bit better in the video
My personal favorite team is a spread Alhaitham-Fischl-Bennet-Nahida. Bennet just adds so much to this team, even apart from his heal and attack boost. Give him Instructor and the Sapwood Blade and he will buff Alhaitham for another 240EM. Also, since he adds pyro to the team, Nahidas elemental skill deals more dmg as well. Fischl can also be replaced by Beidou, who benefits from Bennets attack buff the most due to her massive need for energy recharge.
Gotta be careful with that burning stealing your quicken aura. That's why I hate using Bennett in spread/aggravate comps despite his great heal and attack boost.
Burning is not a problem. In a Nahida into Bennet into Fischl rotation, Fischl will consume the burning state and when it's Alhaithams turn, quicken will have already been applied. What I don't get is why you would want XQ in your party, since he will constantly apply hydro and remove the quicken state. Especially with Kuki, who won't keep up with applying electro. Since quicken itself does not deal bonus dmg when applied, there is no dmg benefit to Alhaitham, as spread will never happen.
about the C6 and the -5% Q damage because you sacrifice crit rate it says that it buffs his crit by 10:70 and not his E crit by that amount so the C6 affects his whole kit not just his E or maybe its mistranslated
I am also confused what the -5% is about. (Shouldn't it just stay at +/-0%?) However, I understand that the mirrors get generated 2s after the burst so it won't affect the burst itself (unless you use Sac Sword to generate 4 mirrors in total before his Q). Only after making use of his passive (or his E) to generate an extra mirror after the burst, he'll benefit from the crit bonus.
I got alhaitham on accident by trying to get yaoyao on my first ten pull and I was genuinely in shock because I lost my guaranteed 5 star Which would have been yelan oof
You can do a spread team with Alhaitham, DMC, Nahida, and Kuki for some lolz. Build Al for pure crit stats, DMC and Nahida providing most of the em and plenty of energy.
