Every barrel that takes a PWR style insert was tested for average velocity, standard deviation, and sound pressure level.
Keep in mind that a 5-10 dB increase is “about” twice as loud perceived. A 3dB increase is twice the sound pressure level, but not twice the volume. On the prolonged streams, the pressure level is higher. Single shot and stream data paints the full picture!
I think this data is only relative to itself. Like, it’s great for comparing the things within the co text of this video, given the controls I had in place.
Obviously we are shoot round, uneven, air pocket filled gelatinous balls so all of this is very colloquial. Not a perfect test by any means, and even though it is all ver colloquial, I would need NASA to make perfect caliber paintballs in a lab to tell you that the Silencio PWR barrel is loud. Like, we can trust our ears a bit - relax.

Long story short? I think if you care about the total package, it’s the UL-I. But that nano just sounds so good! I will be rocking the nano going forward here.
