The term, "sigma," is overused to congratulate extremist conservatives, typically in heterosexist, sexist, or other discriminatory usages (often, alpha was used for this, but has fell out of usage). The term has become popular among the youth of Generation Alpha via platforms about short-form content, like Tiktok. These combined characteristics have lead to a common hatred towards the term, those who use it and related terms between those its users discriminate against, such as the LGBTQ+ community and feminists, the two most common examples hated by those self-proclaimed "sigmas." Additionally, the aforementioned "sigmas" will call those against them and the term "woke" often. Due to this, I have a major disliking for the term and it's users. For those who watch shorts: I don't like the term "sigma."
