The reason for the rectangular comms dish was because Lando lost the circular one escaping the second Death Star. Han took the opportunity to replace it with a more low profile one, something he'd been meaning to do for years. The circular one kept getting in the field of vision of the top quad guns. But the fans hated it, so when Rey lost the new dish navigating the caves on Crait near the end of Last Jedi, they reverted to the circular design for Rise of Skywalker.
my favorite at 21:35 he has a certain charm, great articulation for a 3PO and love the put a light source in the back of his head so his eyes light up gimmick (the R2 that goes with him is great too, they make a great team).
Didn’t 3PO Ware the red arm out of respect for another fellow Protocol droid that sacrificed himself in a battle? I think there was a whole story that was presented in a Star Wars comic special.
What a throwback it is hearing those two stories of your first action figure. I remember well teachers confiscating toys from students. That's funny (and probably smart) that you stole it back. She must have forgotten about it. And oh there was always that older boy who would wreck your toys!!! I hated those guys!
I was sure I was not getting 3PO back. Who knows if I would have stayed with Star Wars if I didn't do it. But yes, those were the days, Toy Survival at school :)
